Some more awesome Christmas cards from our workshop run by at the Cardinia Cultural Centre this year.

The first card has a very important message from Alex, who shares that "At Christmas, you get what you get and you don't get upset."

Trying to work out if this is a program we should expand for 2024!

Would you be interested in creating your own Easter cards, birthday cards, Christmas cards and more?

A VERY belated Merry Christmas to everyone!

I absolutely love some of these card designs created during our Christmas Card workshop at the Cardinia Cultural Centre at the end of November.

None of these artists had ever picked up Procreate before, and they all left with electronic versions of their cards, as well as a printed copy of each to add an extra personal touch to the gifts they gave this Christmas!

Would you come make cards with us if we ran something similar next year, or maybe even for Easter and general greeting cards (birthday etc.)?

If anyone needs me, I’ll be staring at my calendar waiting for the 22nd of November! 😂

Stayed up for the 1am announcement, I think there must have been a lot of dust in my eyes when they played the trailer, and with about 4 hours sleep under my belt, then I went off to spend the better part of the next 6 hours teaching beginner workshops for digital art, *ahem* Procreate!

I can already call to mind a couple of my Procreate students who would get a lot out of this app, and I haven’t even seen it in person yet!

I can’t even put into words how full my heart is right now, and how much I wish Procreate would take my money, NOW!

Who else is already getting in line?

Is it November yet??? 😭

The more “official” looking announcement I designed to promote the workshops on June 3rd, which had a wonderful turnout and some really switched-on attendees!

Such an honour to be involved, and have so many workshops lined up already over the next three months!

More to come, more to be booked, and if you want to keep up to date with new events, or would like to host a workshop for your friends, family, or company, please get in touch.

Remembering back to the Digital Art Taster workshop that ran for 1 hour as a part of Art Show Pakenham not quite a month ago, and preparing for the next, fully booked workshops at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, it’s hard not to be blown away by the community response to these digital art workshops.

It’s incredible to see the dream becoming a reality, and one that so many others are embracing!

Back in April, I tidied up my Procreate library, and cleared up about 60 GIG of space on my iPad!

You don’t want to see the before… it took more than six scrolls to see everything on the Procreate Home Screen…

I wonder if they might introduce categories within categories one day? That would be great for people like me… y’know, the kind of people with 350 tabs open on their browser… 😂

It’s time to do another tidy up before two workshops next week at the Cardinia Cultural Centre as part of Winterfest events!

It's hard to believe this beautiful little ipad has been in my life for five years, and in 2020 we embarked on a digital art journey together.

This ipad was bought to use at events for bookselling, and then became my first digital canvas.

I never thought I could create visually before 2020, and boy did this ipad help me prove myself wrong!

Now, we're embarking on the journey to help others get the hang of, or learn a little more about, digital art, and start making masterpieces of their own!
