Big news from Little Angels! We’re excited to announce that Little Angels Early Learning is joining the Y NSW!
With centres at Mascot and Pagewood Green, we've been dedicated to providing nurturing early childhood learning and care to our wonderful community.
We’re ready to spread our wings even further! For over 40 years, the Y NSW has been a leader in children’s services, and together, we’ll continue to provide the exceptional care your little ones deserve. We’re excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to grow with you!

The Wattle room have been exploring Spring and are loving every moment. The children have planted native Wattle plants in their yard and have been watering them every few days.

The children really enjoy exploring petals in ice cubes and watching them melt, they were very curious about the cold feeling on their hands. We have also been watching Timelapse videos of flowers blooming and the children are fascinated with how they move. We have taking the children around the centre to make nature bracelets, they have been picking leaves and flowers and placing them on the sticky tape.

Gardening has many benefits for young children it allows them to develop and Understanding as they learn about cause and effect (for example, plants die without water, weeds compete with plants)

We love caring for our environment 🌱🪴🪻

Excursion to St Michael’s 🏫 On Monday we headed on a walking excursion to our local primary school, St Michael’s with our Viola children. We were welcomed at the gates and greeted with a beautiful singing performance from the Kindy children! Each of the children then got a special buddy and we were escorted on a tour of the beautiful school grounds. The children were so excited to hear all about the school pet dog, Harvey who visits them regularly! We are very excited to visit St Michael’s again in the near future. 😊📚✏️

📚 Library Excursion 📚

This Banksia Children have been doing monthly visits to Mascot public Library from the beginning of the year and it’s one of our Favourite days. We catch public transport building on our road safety and awareness as we make our journey there. Once we reach the library we were welcomed by Nina the librarian, Nina read us some story books, we did some dancing, and even engaged in art and craft activity.

Through this excursion, children build on their sense of belonging in the local community. Engaging with the local community encourages children to recognise the reciprocal relationship between them and society and better develop their social skills.

We have our final visit of the year coming up and want to Thank Nina at for welcoming us each month ❤️

Halloween sensory activity in the sun☀️👻
Our preschool blue children at Little Angels at the Spot Preschool have been busy involving themselves within a Halloween science experiment. This children using food colouring, water and loose parts to create their frozen Halloween hands!
Once the Halloween hands where frozen our preschoolers experimented using tools, the sun and the warmth of their hands to melt the frozen hands to reveal the loose parts inside! 👻❄️🧊☀️

On Wednesday 18th October Little Angels at Mascot Central had their first visit to SECC hub in Mascot to kickstart our Intergenerational program and what a fun filled morning we had. We are privileged to be giving this opportunity to participate in this program so big thanks to .sydney for having us!!

We started the morning by introducing our little ones to their new friends before starting our activities, the children had a range of activities to choose from including a play dough area, painting, basketball and fine motor activities and we were joined by our new friends, we then enjoyed a progressive morning tea and the children enjoyed some yummy scones with jam, fruits and crackers with hummus, we finished our morning with a group one with Kylie who read a beautiful book. Our first day was a big hit and a success 🎉 Our staff, children and parents have not stopped talking about it since!!

We look forward to continuing this journey woth .sydney and we can’t wait to build on our already beautiful connection with our new friends. See you soon ❤️
