It’s amazing how natural learning opportunities can pop up (in a double sense here!). While putting our fruit & veg away we came across an organic little friend. This opened up conversation about what does it need to eat 🌽, it’s life cycle as to whether it become a butterfly 🦋 and why this corn has a caterpillar but others didn’t plus the other veggies didn’t…

As so now a child led experiment has started to see whether our corn caterpillar will eat other vegetables in the new home created by a young wonder.

Hands on, life relevant learning is so beautiful and effective in growing an understanding of the world 🥰
