Wear it Yellow is a fundraising campaign for First Nations children and families, held during National Reconciliation Week, 27. It's a way our community to support Children’s Ground and learn more about First Nations history and culture during National Reconciliation Week.

This year’s theme for National Reconciliation Week is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.

Please wear yellow on TUESDAY 26TH May and bring a donation or donate via the link in the newsletter.

Today, students and staff at Petrie Terrace State School successfully completed a scheduled evacuation drill.

These drills are an important part of our school’s safety procedures, helping everyone practise how to respond calmly and safely in the event of an emergency. We are proud of how well our students listened carefully, followed instructions, and moved promptly to the designated assembly areas.

A big thank you to our staff and students for their cooperation and teamwork in ensuring the drill was completed smoothly. Safety is always a priority at PTSS.
