What a special day for our Bambara Primary School Choir! 🎶✨

Today, our talented students had the incredible opportunity to perform at One Big Voice at the RAC Arena, joining thousands of students from across Western Australia in a spectacular celebration of music, teamwork and community.

We are so proud of every choir member who represented our school with enthusiasm, confidence and heart. Their dedication and commitment to rehearsals truly shone today.

A very special thank you goes to our amazing Music Teacher, Mrs Correa. Your passion, hard work and unwavering dedication to our students does not go unnoticed. The countless hours spent preparing, encouraging and inspiring our choir have helped create memories that our students will cherish for years to come.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and caring teacher leading Music at Bambara Primary School. Thank you, Mrs Correa, for sharing your love of music and helping our students find their voice. 🎵💜

Last Thursday, our Rooms 1, 2 and 7 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to Perth Zoo, where they explored the importance of wildlife conservation and the vital role habitats play in supporting animals around the world.

Throughout the day, students discovered a variety of wildlife habitats, observed animals interacting within their environments, and developed practical skills to conduct habitat surveys. They investigated the threats facing wildlife and their habitats and learned about simple actions they can take to support and protect local species.

The excursion provided valuable hands-on learning experiences and inspired students to think about how they can make a positive difference for wildlife and conservation in their own community.

A huge thank you to Mrs Jarvis, Mrs Belloso and Mrs Lu for organising such a wonderful learning opportunity for our students.

We would also like to sincerely thank our parent volunteers who generously gave their time to support the excursion. Your assistance helped make the day a success, and your support is always greatly valued and appreciated.

Exciting Announcement

We’ve been selected to join WA’s free, full-time Kindergarten pilot from 2027.

What this means for families:
• option for children to attend Kindergarten up to five days per week
• no cost to families
• a full-time program delivered at the school
• support for families who need full-time Kindergarten arrangements

We know families have different needs and preferences. Kindergarten is non-compulsory, and the school will support families to make the decision that is right for their child.

We look forward to welcoming our kindy families as part of this pilot.
