Community Kindergartens offer an alternative to government school-based kindergarten programs. We operate our kindys from purpose-built buildings and playgrounds designed to nurture children’s development in a caring community environment.

🌟 Exciting Update for 2027 at Padbury Community Kindy!

From 2027, our Kindy program will move to a 5-day fortnight, with children enjoying a full Kindy day every second Wednesday instead of attending a half-day each week.

🔴 Red Group: Mondays & Thursdays + full-day Wednesday on odd weeks
🔵 Blue Group: Tuesdays & Fridays + full-day Wednesday on even weeks

This means each group still attends five Kindy days across the fortnight, with the Wednesday alternating between our Red and Blue groups.

✨ We still have some places available for 2027!

Despite any social media activity you may see we are actually closed for the school holidays. We will return on the 12th of October and endeavor to return to any emails after this date.

We hope all of our families have a safe and relaxing break.

🧚‍♀️🏴‍☠️ International Fairy (Pirate) Tea Party Day! 🏴‍☠️🧚‍♀️
This week, both groups joined in the fun of International Fairy Tea Party Day, a global celebration of children’s play, imagination and creativity, held each year around the September equinox.
There was plenty of magic (and a little pirate mischief!) at Kindy. The children enjoyed fairy bread, ate fruit salad from their beautifully decorated cups, and even took responsibility for washing up their own dishes afterwards!
We finished the day with a very exciting pirate treasure hunt, with our little pirates following the clues in search of hidden treasure.
Such a fun way to celebrate imagination, creativity and the joy of play! 🧚‍♀️🏴‍☠️💛

🏃‍♀️ Our Annual Kindy Lap-a-thon is back Wednesday! 🏃‍♂️
The children are getting ready to put on their running shoes and see how many laps they can complete at our annual Lap-a-thon!
This is one of our Kindy’s major fundraisers for the year, with all money raised going straight back into our Kindy to help provide the wonderful resources, experiences and extras our children enjoy.

💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

Wishing a very Happy Father’s Day to all of our past and present Kindy dads, and to all the special men who play an important part in our children’s lives.

On Wednesday we celebrated our annual SMILE Day – Special Man I Love Every Day. It was such a lovely morning with the children and their special people making crowns, singing songs, creating some very impressive buildings and, of course, putting their skills to the test in our paper plane competition! ✈️ A big thank you to Mrs James for all the work she put into making the event possible.

We know families come in all shapes and sizes, and days like today can mean something different to everyone. Today we celebrate the dads, grandads, stepdads and all the wonderful father figures who love, encourage and support our children.

This week we celebrated Education Assistant Appreciation Week and took the opportunity to say a very big thank you to our wonderful EAs Mrs Hall, Mrs Mattingley and Miss Ellenbrook.

We are so lucky to have such caring and dedicated EAs at our Kindy. The patience, kindness and support they give our children every day makes such a difference. They are always there to lend a hand, share a laugh, give a cuddle when it’s needed and celebrate all those little Kindy moments alongside us.

Thank you for everything you do, including all the little things that often go unnoticed. We appreciate you more than you know and our Kindy simply wouldn’t be the same without you!
