Recently, Miss Caldwell's Year 12 English students stepped away from the books and put their communication skills to the test! 🗣️📚
Students worked in groups to build the tallest paper tower possible, requiring clear communication, collaboration, problem-solving and a healthy dose of creativity! 🏗️
We also put communication to the test with a drawing challenge. In pairs, one student had to give precise verbal instructions while their partner attempted to draw a house and a fish — without seeing the original! 🏠🐟
It was a great reminder that effective communication isn't just about what we say, but how clearly we say it, how well we listen, and how we adapt when things don't go to plan.
Plenty of laughs, some very creative towers and a few interesting-looking houses and fish!
