🌱 Gardening is on, baby! 🌱

The P&C’s Greening Group has been having a ball getting their hands dirty in the Prep Gardens with the kids on Fridays.

Prep Gardening sessions run on Fridays in second break (1:15 – 2:00 pm). So far we’ve had parent volunteers, as well as Vanessa from Helping Hands and some of her wonderful staff.

🍽️ Tuckshop Reminder!

Don't forget to place your Tuesday Tuckshop order via Flexischools by 9:00am every Monday. ⏰

🙋 Can you spare a couple of hours?

We're always looking for friendly volunteers to help in the Tuckshop on Tuesdays from 12:00pm–2:00pm. Whether you can help once or on a regular basis, we'd love to have you on the team!

A huge thank you to Bendigo Bank Mt Ommaney and Belle Jackson for generously helping provide the juice poppers for our Student Disco this Friday! 🎉

Thanks to the support of wonderful community members and organisations like these, we're able to make our disco an affordable and fun night for all our students. 🙌

💙 Belle will be at the school on Friday helping set up for the disco, so if you see her, please stop by to say hello and thank her for her support. We're so grateful for everything she's done behind the scenes.

Community support like this helps make nights like our Student Disco possible, and we truly appreciate everyone who pitches in.

We can't wait to see everyone on the dance floor! 🪩✨

🥣 Breakfast Club – Fuel for Learning! 🍎🍞

Did you know our Breakfast Club runs every Monday and Tuesday morning at Oxley SS, helping ensure our students start the day with a full tummy and ready to learn?

A huge thank you to our wonderful P&C for helping fund our tuckshop convenor Mr C, to lead Breakfast Club each week. With limited regular volunteers available, his role is essential in making sure every child who needs breakfast is looked after.

We'd also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Woolworths Oxley for their incredible ongoing generosity. Every fortnight they provide fresh fruit, bread and a variety of spreads, to fuel our students bodies and minds. This support makes a real difference and simply wouldn't be sustainable without them.

💚 Woolworths ask for nothing in return, but if you're shopping there, we'd love for you to thank a team member for helping support our school community. A few kind words go a long way in letting them know their generosity is appreciated.

🙋 We also need your help! Breakfast Club relies on volunteers to keep running. If you have an hour to spare on a Monday or Tuesday morning, we'd love to have you join the team. Even volunteering occasionally can make a big difference.
