Protecting our wildlife and their habitat is most important, and we don't need them overtaken by solar farms thus destroying their homes!
Students at RiverArts spent this term drawing and painting endangered species to bring awareness and be a voice for the nature that is under threat in our region.

_The Regent Honeyeaters are Critically Endangered.
Land clearing has destroyed 80% to 85% of the temperate box-ironbark woodlands and eucalypt forests. These habitats are vital to the nomadic birds for food and nesting.
_Grey-crowned Babbler populations have declined across their range because land clearing has fragmented their habitat. As groups become isolated, their numbers can fall so low that they are no longer able to breed successfully.
_In the farmland and wetlands surrounding Glenrowan in north-east Victoria, the two primary endangered and threatened frog species of conservation focus are Sloane’s Froglet and the Growling Grass Frog.
