Hello dancers!
I wanted to formally pass on to everyone the closure of the East Coast Precision (ECP) clogging brand as of the beginning of 2022.
The reason the group initially formed (East Coast Cloggers) was in an effort to bring cloggers, especially the youth within clogging, together to build friendships, networks and to have an open and welcoming space for all dancers to grow in whatever area of life they wanted.
From the early days in Queanbeyan, to the first hoodies in Reno to the open invitation worldwide to the Shed in Brisbane, the love of clogging and dance and community was shared with many, many dancers, parents, instructors, spectators and the best of all, friends.
It has come to a time where goals shift and different challenges settle in and command adjusting levels of our time! A break was welcome in the last 12 months but ultimately lead to the decision that ECP would retire.
To all the dancers that took classes from us, danced with us, performed wth us, travelled with us, drank with us, laughed with us and reflected with us. Thank you for being apart of the journey with ECP.
Both Amanda and Nathan will continue persuing dance goals personally and in the wider community. Amanda will continue to teach and lead the CONFIdance cloggers on the dance floor as they all open up again. And be sure to keep an eye out for what Nathan will get up to in the clog world, and more broadly in the tap and percussive dance genres.
Content will still stay available from lives to cue sheets and videos to take a look back at.
Thank you all once again for being a part of something very special and we will see you on a dance floor sometime soon!
