🔴 Get up that wall!
⚫️ Hope these tips are helpful:
🔺️Calculate Run-up
You need to to finish your run up right at the start of the wall, so calculate and plan it out.
🔺️3 Big Steps
Usually three powerful steps up the wall is enough. Some it may be 3-5 steps (if you are shorter). Each step must drive you up the wall.
🔺️Coming Down + Climbing Up:
Coming down often takes some getting used to, so take it slow and gradually build. So can the climb up be quite challenging, and requires direct training if it's holding you back. For most, the seal flop can work 🦭
🔺️ Send it!
For the majority of us, fear is what is holding us back. Doing the reps and pushing the comfort zone incrementally is where we need to be.

⚫️Hope you find these Ski Erg Tips helpful: 💪
🔺️Adjust Damper: 5-8 is a nice level for most of our classes & Hyrox competitions. This isn't an all guns blazing situation, level 10 is not best, but can be useful
🔺️Set Grip: The pointy side of the grips should be facing you. The meaty part of your hands can sit nicely on the handle that way.
🔺️Set Rhythm & Stroke: 1s Down, 2s Up is a general ratio for steady efforts. This encourages a powerful downward stroke, and an effective recovery phase before hitting it again. A strong hip hinge is the driver of the movement, with bent arms for strong arms, following through as you stand up.
