Yesterday, we were pleased to welcome Victoria Police to GEALC for an informative community safety session.
Participants learned about a range of important topics including personal safety, fraud and scams, electronic crime, neighbourhood disputes, vehicle safety, burglary prevention, property damage, family violence, and staying safe at social gatherings.
These sessions help provide practical information, build confidence, and empower our learners with the knowledge and resources needed to stay safe and informed in their everyday lives.
A big thank you to Victoria Police for sharing their time, expertise and valuable advice with our community.

This week is Men's Health Week.
Men's health is about more than just what happens in a doctor's office. It's shaped by our daily habits, our environment, our mental wellbeing, and how we seek support.
Did you know?
πΉ 1 in 5 men die before the age of 65
πΉ Small changes to lifestyle and regular health checks can make a big difference
Men's Health Week is an opportunity to learn more about your health, take positive action and encourage the men in your life to do the same.
Support is available, and looking after your health is one of the most important investments you can make.
