🎶 Congratulations to our Choirs! 🎶

A huge congratulations to our wonderful choirs who participated in the Eisteddfod this week!

🏆 Junior Choir – 3rd Place
🎵 Boys in Treble! – Highly Commended (4th Place) out of seven performances

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, hard work and enthusiasm our students have shown. A special thank you to Mrs Gordon who has supported and prepared our students for this wonderful opportunity.

Chappy Corinne is looking for a volunteer helper to assist with the organising of school chaplaincy events. The help needed would involve the organising of supplies prior to chaplaincy fundraising/events at our school. Any assistance and time given (big or small) would be much appreciated. This coming Monday is a public holiday in the City of Redland for the Royal Queensland Show Day (EKKA) - not Wednesday as with other parts of Brisbane. This means that school will be closed on Monday 10th August, and we will expect students to attend school on Wednesday 12th August as a normal school day.

Our tuckshop is in desperate need of more volunteers to help, in order to stay open 5 days a week and preparing scrumptious, healthy meals. We are specifically looking for parents to help from 9-11am each day. Please contact us.

Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed at the Redlands Roos track and field carnival at QSAC over the past two days. We had some incredible results.

Joseph placed 7th in the 12yrs boys high jump.
River placed 2nd in the 10yrs boys 1500m.
Archer placed 5th in the 10yrs boys High Jump, 4th in the Long Jump and 4th in the 100m.
Cameron placed 5th in the 10yrs boys High Jump and 1st in the Shot Put.
Ace placed 4th in the 11yrs boys Long Jump and 4th in the 200m.
Reece placed 2nd in the 11yrs boys Long Jump and 1st in the 11yrs boys High jump (new PB of 142cm).

All the athletes above have qualified to compete at the Metropolitan East carnival later in the term.
Congratulation once again and good luck at the next stage!!
