What a special morning we had celebrating Father’s Day last week at our Early Learning Centre! 💙

We loved welcoming so many dads and grandfathers to spend time playing, learning and connecting alongside their children.

At our Centre, we know children thrive when families and educators work in partnership. Mornings like this strengthen that sense of belonging and connection, while giving our children the joy of sharing their world with the people they love.

Being part of our Early Years to Year 12 community also means our youngest learners are surrounded by that sense of connection from their very first years at Livingstone.

Thank you to all the dads and grandfathers who joined us and made the morning so special. We are so grateful for the wonderful families who make our ELC community what it is. 💙

Smiles All Around in Pre-Prep!

Today our Pre-Prep children had a fantastic time during their on-site dental visit! From eager check-ups to curious observers, every child engaged in meaningful learning about looking after their teeth. 🪥

This experience tied perfectly into our focus on health and wellbeing, supporting EYLF Outcome 3 as children built confidence and understanding in caring for their bodies.

As part of Praise & Worship Week, Year 11 students paid a special visit to our Pre-Prep and Early Learning Centre, leading a special time of worship with our youngest learners.

It was a joy to see all the children fully engaged, lifting their voices in praise and worshiping the Lord with excitement. The Year 11 students led with enthusiasm, guiding our little ones through songs of praise while encouraging them to explore different musical instruments. From tambourines and shakers to drums and clapping hands, each child had the chance to express their love for God through music.

A special thank you to our Year 11 students, our Pre-Prep and ELC educators, and the Chaplaincy Team for making this time so meaningful. We are grateful for their leadership and passion in creating opportunities for our youngest learners to grow in their faith.

We look forward to more moments of praise and worship as a college family!

OPEN FROM 9AM WEDNESDAY 12th MARCH

Great news! Power has been fully restored at Livingstone Christian College, and we’re excited to welcome children and staff back to the Centre tomorrow from 9am.

ELC and Pre-Prep will open from 9am.
OSHC will be open for Afternoon Club only.

We understand that some families may still be affected by local conditions, so please prioritise safety when making travel decisions.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during the closure. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the Centre, ready for a great day of learning!

We trust that you are all safe and well as things start returning to normal. While Livingstone Christian College has fared well and floodwaters are receding, we are still without power. As a result, the College will remain closed on Tuesday.

We will continue to keep you updated each day and are hopeful that we’ll be back to normal operations soon. Stay safe, and we appreciate your patience and understanding!
