From the workshop to the basketball courts, our Year 11 Building and Construction Skills students have put their learning into action, creating something that will benefit our entire school community!
Throughout the year, our students have been creating additional seating areas for around the school. After constructing the seating structures earlier in the year, at the end of last term it was all about bringing their hard work to life with the final installation.
Now, our basketball courts have extra seating for students to enjoy, a practical addition that makes a real difference to our school spaces.
This is what hands-on learning is all about! Developing practical skills, building confidence and seeing a project through from construction to completion, all while creating something meaningful for others.
A big thank you to our Design and Technologies teachers for providing our Year 11s with such a valuable, real-world learning experience. Not only are our students building their skills, but they're also leaving a lasting contribution that our whole community can enjoy.
