During the last week of Term 3, our Year 2 students got road safety smart with Journi! Through fun animations and interactive activities, they learned important skills to help them make safe choices on and around roads.

The learning came to life with a hands-on scooter riding session, giving students the chance to put their new skills into practice.

This term, Prep students have been exploring the steps of the design-thinking process. Last week, they were introduced to the Makedo tools. After a safety lesson and a few helpful tips, they were given an open-ended brief to use cardboard and the tools to design anything they could imagine. Their creative and thoughtful designs included animals with movable legs, tools such as hammers, phones with flip-top lids, Minecraft blocks and even a space satellite.

We are incredibly excited to announce that Livingstone Christian College and the Livingstone Football Academy (LFA) have been officially accepted into the Queensland Football Schools League (QFSL) for the 2027 season and beyond!

This is a significant milestone for our Football Academy and reflects the growing reputation, vision and commitment of our program to developing student-athletes in a high-performance school environment.

The QFSL provides a structured and competitive platform for Football Academy schools, creating opportunities for students to challenge themselves, develop their football and strengthen pathways towards the next level.

The QFSL has 5 leagues - Junior Boys (Year7 & 8), Junior Girls (Year7-9), Intermediate Boys (Year 9& 10), Senior Boys (Year 11&12), Senior Girls (Year 10-12)

Livingstone Christian College officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Logan Thunder Basketball, creating an exciting new partnership between Livingstone Christian College and its Basketball Academy (LBA), and Logan Thunder Basketball.

The partnership will strengthen basketball development pathways for our students through shared curriculum and coaching expertise, professional coaching opportunities, facility access, tournament pathways, and collaboration between our College and community basketball.

This is another important step in our commitment to providing students with opportunities to pursue Christ, Character and Excellence through sport, while building strong pathways from our Primary afterschool Basketball development training program through to our Secondary Basketball Academy.

We are excited about what the future holds!
