Last week, thanks to a very generous joint financial donation from the Orbost Masonic Lodge and Freemasons Foundation our Year 9 and 10 boys were able to experience "The Man Cave" - an Australian in-school mental health emotional literacy program exploring the concept of masculinity, encouraging self-awareness and promoting healthier relationships.

🌟 Something special is dropping into mailboxes this week…

Following our Term 3 Interim Reports, we wanted to recognise something pretty impressive.

75 OCC students achieved consistently positive ratings for BOTH effort and behaviour across every one of their subjects! 👏👏

That means, day after day and class after class, they’re showing the attitude and effort that make a real difference.

So keep an eye on the mailbox — 75 well-deserved congratulations are on their way! 💙💛

We left a 1,000-piece puzzle lying around in the R Block Gallery… students from Grade 5 upwards have been quietly chipping away at it ever since.

Today, these two placed the final two available pieces—bringing the completed total to an impressive 997. 🧩

The remaining three pieces are still at large. Investigations continue. 🔍😄

The new TV has landed in R Block and it’s already attracting plenty of interest - kids can’t get enough of our highlights! Next step… OCC TV? We might even remember to play something educational between the cat videos. 📺🐱📚

State Cross Country 🏃‍♀️

This was the view plenty of the field got at the State Cross Country Championships!

Our two competitors produced outstanding runs, Lara finishing 13th and Jemma 34th out of 100 in their respective age groups.

A brilliant achievement at state level — and a lot of runners spent the day chasing an Orbost jersey. 💙🩵
