🏆🔥 TEEN COMPETITOR OF THE YEAR FINALISTS! 🔥🏆

We have even more exciting news from the 2026 KRMAS O-Hanshi Awards! 🥋✨

This year, we are incredibly proud to have TWO High Impact athletes named as finalists for Teen Competitor of the Year!

🥋 Sempai Zanna D
🥋 Phochoy Bridie H

Both of these young women have shown incredible commitment to their martial arts journey. They continue to train hard, challenge themselves, step into competition and push the limits of what they can achieve. 💪🔥

Competition isn't always about winning — it's about having the courage to put yourself out there, learning from every experience and coming back stronger. Both Zanna and Bridie have demonstrated exactly that throughout the year. 👊

To have two of our athletes recognised among the finalists is something our entire Dojo can be incredibly proud of! ❤️

Congratulations Zanna and Bridie! 🎉👏

We can't wait to cheer you both on at the 37th Annual O-Hanshi Awards Gala Night on Sunday 1 November! 🏆✨

High Impact is proud of you both!

🏆🥋 JUNIOR COMPETITOR FINALIST! 🥋🏆

We are incredibly proud to announce that Kohai Abigail S has been named a FINALIST for Junior Competitor of the Year at the 2026 KRMAS O-Hanshi Awards! 🎉

Abigail has worked incredibly hard to develop her skills, refine her technique and continually push herself both in training and competition. 💪🥋

What makes this achievement even more special is the attitude she brings to her martial arts journey. She is always looking for ways to improve, willing to challenge herself and determined to become a better martial artist every time she steps onto the mat.

Being named a finalist among so many outstanding junior martial artists across KRMAS is a fantastic achievement — and one that Abigail should be extremely proud of! 👏

From everyone here at KRMAS High Impact, congratulations Abigail! ❤️

We are so proud to have you representing our Dojo and can't wait to celebrate with you at the 37th Annual O-Hanshi Awards Gala Night on Sunday 1 November! 🏆✨

Congratulations Kohai Abigail!

This morning, the team took on Mount Canobolas — and it was definitely a challenge! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It’s easy to stay comfortable, but growth happens when we step outside our comfort zone, embrace the challenge and keep pushing when things get tough.

Just like in martial arts, it’s not always about being the fastest or the strongest. It’s about showing up, putting in the effort and refusing to quit.

Proud of everyone who got out there this morning and tackled the mountain together!

(Missing from the photoshoot is Sharla and Tony - well done guys)

🥋 THE DOJO DEBATE RESULTS ARE IN! 🥋

This week’s big question was:

🌙 WOULD YOU RATHER…
🥳 Saturday Night
OR
😴 Sunday Morning?

And honestly… there wasn’t much of a debate. 😂

🏆 SATURDAY NIGHT WAS THE CLEAR WINNER! 🏆

Because apparently our dojo crew would rather stay up late, enjoy a Saturday night and NOT have to set an alarm for Sunday morning!

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and put their vote on the board!

But now we need to know…

👀 Which side were YOU on?

And more importantly… what will next week’s Dojo Debate be? 🥋🤔

😂 Well, this has caused a little confusion!

A few people have been messaging us after seeing this week’s Orange City Life and saying:

“Hey Sal, I saw you in the Business Orange Awards photos!” 👀

And yes… Sal was actually at the Business Orange Awards.

BUT…

She wasn’t in THIS photo. 😂

Somehow, the photo of Sempai Adam and Sensei Nicole has been labelled as Sal and Tasshi Anthony.

So just to clear things up:

✅ Sal really was at the awards
❌ Sal is not in this photo
❌ Tasshi is definitely not in this photo
😂 Sempai Adam and Sensei Nicole are, however, VERY much in this photo!

We’re not quite sure how the mix-up happened (Sempai Adam 😳)but we’ve had a good laugh at all the messages coming through! 😂

Most importantly, a big thank you to Sempai Adam and Sensei Nicole for representing Kumiai Ryu High Impact at the Business Orange Awards and for helping us celebrate the amazing local business community.
