Christmas cookie decorating 😍🎄🦌

Its been such a busy year and i havent had a chance to post, so here are some photos of my beautiful children :)

Today we had loads of fun making a lava lamp. We filled a plastic cup 3/4 of the way then added 4 table spoons of bicarb soda to it. In a separate cup we added some vinegar and some blue food colouring. With a syringe we slowly added the vinegar to the oil, we watched as it sunk to the bottom and formed a chemical reach. This made the vinegar float and sink through the vinegar! The children absolutely loved watching the lava lamp.

Rock alphabet recognition!
My little friends have had loads of fun matching alphabet rocks today. I traced the rocks onto a piece of paper then wrote a letter on the rocks and the paper. With a little help they found the correct spots for the rocks. Well done girls!

Thankyou to everyone that helped out and came to Happy Huskies Christmas Party today, I think the children had lots of fun and wore them selves out :) also a big thankyou to Santa for visiting :) I hope everyone had fun xx

We love Christmas at Happy Huskies, there are always lots of fun things to do!!

As we can't go outside because of the cold, miserable, wet weather, we brought the trampoline and the bikes inside for a bit of fun. The children loved this idea! (The photos aren't the best as they were having too much fun) 🤣😍🌧⛈☔🚲

Happy Halloween everyone! This week we have done face painting, made Halloween cupcakes, done lots of Halloween craft and played in some Halloween sensory buckets! The children loved it!!!

1 year of being open! Wow time flies when you're having fun :) 1 year down, many years to go!!! 🥰🥰🥰

On the weekend Liam and I decided to buy a new sandpit and rearrange the back yard a little bit plus add a few more toys :) I can't wait for everyone to enjoy the new outdoor space :)

We have just been exploring the snow outside! I used lunch bags to cover the children's feet to stop their shoes from getting drenched in the snow and rain! Everyone loved it and had so much fun trying to catch the snow except my little man who didn't like it that much and refused to go on the ground 🤣

We hope everyone is staying rugged up and warm in this weather!!

I'm excited for my children to come and explore their new inside environment tomorrow:) Liam and I have been very busy this weekend. We have lots of ideas for the outside area also but the weather we have been having just isn't helping!

Here are a few pictures of what we have been doing over the last month. Lots of craft, scissor skills and outdoor play :)

We have had lots of fun over the last couple of days doing lots of Easter craft and activities as the Easter Bunny comes in only 5 more sleeps! Here are a few photos of what we have been getting upto they include:

Liam and I have spent the weekend rearranging the play area at Happy Huskies. We now have a baby sensory area, a baby doll area, a tooling/ construction area, a vets and a hairdresses. I just need to add some photos on the wall and it will be complete. Liam and I still need to do the outside area but its been a bit wet this weekend. I can't wait for the kids to explore their new and improved environment.

As everyone knows it is Harmony Day on Sunday and to celebrate we done some Harmony chain people, wore Orange and made some Mexican savoury muffins. We have also watched a couple of little clips on what Harmony Day means to everyone. Thanks for celebrating with us

Well we have finished up with our colours! Doesn't the artwork look amazing! Everyone had so much fun learning about colours the last few months. Next we will be working on Shapes :)

Welcoming the colour ORANGE!! We are slowly making our way through the rainbow! Pink, purple, white and black are yet to come :)

Last weeks colour was yellow and this week its green :)

This week at Happy Huskies we have been learning the colour 'Red'. We have made a red volcano, red cupcakes, done some red arts and craft and played with red pasta. We have also been discussing what things are red or what could be red. We will be learning more about colours in the next few weeks. Next week we will be learning the colour 'Blue'.

Well Christmas is just around the corner! Happy Huskies have started to do lots of fun activities to celebrate Christmas, we have had pasta sensory play, decorated the Christmas tree and done some Christmas craft! Next week we are looking forward to making some Christmas playdough that will have a peppermint scent and decorate our christmas cookies! Bring on Christmas its my favourite time of year :) 🎄🎁

So over the last few weeks I have been wanting to make a fairy garden for my little ones. Today Liam and I have done most of it, we just need to fix it up a it and add some more plants and some shade.
Throughout the next few weeks the children and I will paint the fairies homes and pai t some colourful rocks to go into the garden. We will also be looking after the plants and talking about the environment and things that we can do to improve/ help it.

We have been very busy over the last couple of months at Happy Huskies Family Daycare. I have gotten to know my lovely children and families and have found out some of their interests. We have been doing lots of craft, cooking, fine motor development activities and have been increasing our gross motor skills outside.
Here are some pictures of the activities we have done over the last 2 months with plenty of more fun and exciting things to come.

Happy Huskies has had a fantastic week doing lots off different indoor and out door activities including playing with kinetic sand, painting and bike riding. It has been an absolute pleasure working g with my kids and getting g to know them. I'd also like to say thankyou to my aunty Deb and Sim for sending me a present in the mail xx

Happy Huskies Family Daycare is an exciting new adventure I am looking forward to opening on the 31/8/2020. It is a friendly family daycare run from my home Monday- Friday 7.30-5.30. I will accompany children aged from 0-5 in these hours and have room for after school/ before school care. Anyone that is after more information please call Orange Family Daycare on 63938672 so we can organise an interview.

Happy Huskies Family Daycare will hopefully be opening. On the 31st August! I just need to do a few more finalisations then hoped we can get up and running.
