All students in Years 7, 11 & 12 are back to school.. 8.38am start. New students in 8, 9 & 10 also attend until 10.15am for orientation... parents to organise pickup at 10.15 please.
ALSO....☕🍰🍒Year 7 Parent Welcome Morning Tea, 8.30am, upstairs in the Staff Common Room...stay for 15 mins or an hour... can't wait to meet you all!

Reminder that lots of pre-loved uniform items in good condition are available at bargain prices on the Sustainable School Shop website (an independent selling/ buying platform) and in the uniform shop adjacent to the school canteen (the canteen staff can assist you except during morning tea & lunch breaks).

Can anyone provide assistance to Stacey?
On Tuesday at school my son’s bag with his school shoes in it went “missing”
A good search and an announcement over PA system has failed to locate the items.
The items are: grey Billabong Backpack -new , Lynx school shoes size 9 and orthotic inner soles.
Any help would be appreciated and messages passed onto Stacey :)

Welcome to all new parents!
All parents and carers are automatically members of the P&C, no need for joining applications!
Our meetings are held twice a term, at 6pm on Wednesday of week 3 and week 7 each term in the Bistro Room at Kellys Hotel. Our first meeting for 2018 is next week, 6pm Wednesday 14 February 2018 (at Kellys Hotel in the Bistro Room).
We will be discussing funding Paul Dillon to speak to students and parents about drugs and alcohol, funding for teacher grants, general student and staff wellbeing initiatives and our trivia night to be held later in the year.

We hope to see you involved in P&C activity during the year.
Traffic Issues on Anson Street – The School Executive and P&C reps will be holding a further meeting with the RMS toward the end of August to work out a solution so Sheahan students can cross Anson Street safely. If we don’t reach a successful resolution, we will be taking the matter to the Minister for Roads, because Sheahan parents believe it’s not acceptable that at a school the size of James Sheahan, and with the number of students crossing each day, their children cannot cross Anson Street safely. We will keep you informed!
