CSSA PRIMARY STATE ATHLETICS

Today, we’re cheering on 20 of our Primary students as they head off to compete at the CSSA Primary State Athletics Carnival!

We wish each of them the very best as they take on their track and field events. We’re incredibly proud of their dedication, effort and sportsmanship.

Please join us in praying for safe travels there and back, and for a wonderful day of competition and fellowship.

TODD WOODBRIDGE CUP

Our Stage 3 students recently represented OCS at the Todd Woodbridge Cup tennis competition.

The students had a fantastic day, improving their skills, encouraging one another and enjoying the opportunity to represent our school. They showed great sportsmanship throughout the competition and were wonderful ambassadors for OCS.

Thank you to the staff and parents who supported our students and helped make the day such a positive experience.

We are thankful for the fun, friendships and memories made, and pray for safe travels home for everyone involved.

CSSA PRIMARY NETBALL GALA DAY

Today, OCS proudly entered three teams in the CSSA Primary Netball Gala Day: our Year 5/6 Girls, Year 3/4 Girls, and Year 5/6 Boys teams.

Each team showed great improvement throughout the day, demonstrating teamwork, perseverance, and encouragement both on and off the court. Most importantly, they were wonderful sports and represented our school with respect and integrity.

A big thank you to the parents who came along to support and cheer on our students. Your encouragement means so much to our teams.

We pray for safe travels home for everyone after a fantastic day of netball.

FAR WEST ZONE ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Today our OCS athletes are competing at the Far West Zone Athletics Carnival in Wagga Wagga.

CONGRATULATIONS THOMAS!

Congratulations to Thomas on an outstanding achievement at the NSW All Schools Cross Country Championships this week!

Thomas produced a fantastic performance, finishing an impressive 10th against some of the state's best runners in his age group. As a result, he has been named as a reserve for the NSW All Schools Team that will compete at the upcoming School Sport Australia Cross Country Championships.

We are incredibly proud of Thomas's hard work, dedication and determination. What a fantastic achievement! Well done, Thomas!

CIS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to:

Jacob (12/13 years, 9th place),

Thomas (13 years, 7th place), and

Josiah (16 years, 42nd place)

who competed at the CIS Cross Country Championships.

Representing Orange Christian School against students from Christian and Independent schools across New South Wales, the boys demonstrated determination, perseverance and sportsmanship throughout the event.

A special mention to Thomas who will now represent CIS at the NSW All Schools Cross Country Championships in July.
We congratulate them on this achievement and the way they represented our school.

CSSA STATE GYMNASTICS

Congratulations to Izzie on a fantastic performance at the 2026 CSSA State Gymnastics Championships, competing against students from Christian and Independent schools across New South Wales in Women's Artistic Gymnastics.

Izzie displayed incredible consistency across all four apparatus, finishing 4th in Vault and 4th Overall. We are so proud of her dedication, perseverance and the way she represented our school throughout the competition.

CSSA Netball Gala Day

What a fantastic day at the CSSA Netball Gala Day!

Orange Christian School proudly took three teams to compete. Our Opens Boys, Opens Girls, and Under 15 Girls teams. Each team gave their all on the court, demonstrating great sportsmanship, determination, and significant improvement throughout the day.

We were especially proud to see our students remain humble in victory and gracious in defeat, representing our school with integrity and character.

A huge thank you to our amazing parents and carers who came along to support and encourage our students throughout the day. We are so grateful for your time, enthusiasm, and commitment to our school community.

We pray that everyone travelled home safely after a wonderful day of competition and fellowship.
