Today’s dark and gloomy weather was brightened by our students in a sea of yellow! 💛

Today we celebrated Daffodil Day, spreading sunshine, kindness and hope throughout our school.

🎵🐑 He followed Mrs Thompson to school one day…🎶🐑

Our Infants students were delighted to meet Mrs Thompson’s adorable pet lamb! 🐑

The students loved the opportunity to get up close, give the lamb some gentle pats and even help feed it. There were plenty of excited smiles and lots of learning along the way! 🍼

A big thank you to Mrs Thompson for bringing in her 🎶Little Lamb🎵 and creating such a memorable experience for our students! 💕

Congratulations to all our 🌟Stand Out Student Award🌟 recipients, our 👏🏼Burra’s Legend Award👏🏼 recipients and our 🪶Burra’s Badge🪶 recipients, as well as our prize winners from our 🏀 PBL Draw 🪅 today.

👏🏼 Well done to K / 3 Bluebell and 3 / 4 Grevillea for having the Highest Attendance in the school!
Sharing second place was 1 / 2 Bottlebrush and 5 / 6 Kurrajong with 1 / 2 Hakea coming in third!

🌿 Reconciliation Week - Friendship Pole Project 🌿

K L i l l y P i l l y ‘ s F r i e n d s h i p P o l e

Kindergarten LillyPilly chose handprints and dots for our friendship pole because they represent our class coming together as one community.

The handprints show that every child is important and leaves their own special mark on our classroom. Each handprint is different, just like each person in our class is unique.

The dots symbolise connection, teamwork and friendship. The dotted lines travel along the pole to show that we are all linked together through kindness, learning and belonging.

Together, the handprints and dots tell the story of our Kindergarten class working, learning and growing side by side throughout 2026.

Inspiring Excellence Together

Public Education Week has been a celebration of learning, aspiration and community. From our Future Me mural and Learning Showcase to our Education Week assembly with special guest Dr Chris Sarra, our talented dance group and the presentation of our Education Week awards, this week has highlighted the excellence that exists across our school. Seeing students proudly share their learning with their families, celebrate their achievements and recognise the success of others has been a powerful reminder that excellence is something we build together. Thank you to our students, staff, families and community for making this week so special.
