Connection to Nature
Children need time outdoors for healthy development, beginning from infant age.
Whether it is engaging with the grass whilst lying on their tummy or looking up at the trees tops whilst lying on their back or perhaps it’s sitting and listening to a story being read by that special someone whilst being outdoors
Having time for uninterrupted play, practicing gross motor skills, receiving a healthy, safe dose of vitamin D can all support children to self regulate their bodies and their emotions .
Children learn the skills necessary to maintain healthy relationships, to problem solve, navigate conflicts and communicate
Connecting with nature reduces stress, boosts self esteem, improves deeper restful sleep, stimulates curiosity and creativity
They need outdoor play to learn how to think not what to think . No AI , no screen time no worksheets .
