✨ COMMUNITY DRESS-UP DRIVE ✨

With Book Week just around the corner, we’re excited to invite our children to dress up and celebrate their favourite books all week long! 📚✨

To help make sure every child can join in, we’ve set up a Community Dress-Up Rack in our centre. 🤍

If you have any costumes, dress-ups or accessories at home that you no longer need, we’d love for you to bring them in and add them to the rack.

Families are also welcome to take anything they need! Whether it’s a full costume or just a little something to complete their Book Week look. 🌈

By sharing what we have, we can help make Book Week fun, inclusive and special for every child in our community. 🫶🏼

SUSTAINABILITY ACTION PLAN 🌿🤍

Our goal is to develop an accessible area for families to bring in recyclable materials for use in children’s activities and play spaces. ♻️

As part of our Sustainability Action Plan, we have introduced our Return and Earn Bin 🤍

Families are encouraged to bring in eligible containers, helping us to reduce waste, reuse resources and create meaningful learning opportunities for our children.

The recycled materials collected will support our educators in creating hands-on experiences, creative activities and sustainable play spaces for the children to explore and enjoy.

Together, we can make small changes that have a big impact on our environment. 🤍🌿

Yesterday’s Special Puppet Show 🌿

Yesterday, our little learners had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy a special puppet show experience. 🧸✨

The children were excited to sit together outdoors and engage with the puppets, songs and variety of animals throughout the performance. They enjoyed taking turns holding the different puppets, singing along and clapping to the music. 🎶

The bubble activity was a particular favourite, with the children happily chasing, popping and watching the bubbles float around them. 🫧

It was a beautiful experience that encouraged imagination, participation and joyful learning while creating some very special memories together. 🤍

🌿 Introducing Lyrebird Garden 🌿

A little space for big imaginations, curious minds and beautiful stories. 🤍

We’re so excited to introduce our new Lyrebird Garden Community Library, created as a special place for our children to explore books, share stories and discover new adventures.

The name Lyrebird Garden was chosen because the lyrebird represents curiosity, listening, learning and finding your voice, beautifully reflecting the connection between children, education and the joy of learning. 🪶

A very special thank you to one of our wonderful grandparents for kindly donating the beautiful library house to our centre. We are so grateful for your generosity and for helping us create a space our children and community can enjoy for years to come.

Located at the entrance of our centre, we invite our families and wider community to engage with Lyrebird Garden by taking a book to enjoy, sharing a favourite book or simply stopping by for a little story. 📚🌱

Jeans for Genes Day 🤍

Yesterday, we came together for Jeans for Genes Day, with our children and educators wearing denim to support an important cause. 👖

It was so lovely to see everyone getting involved and bringing a little extra fun to our day. 🤍 Jeans for Genes Day helps raise awareness and funds to support children and families living with genetic conditions.

Every small contribution helps support vital research and create brighter futures for families. 🌿 Thank you to our wonderful families and educators for getting involved and making the day so special. 💙

CELEBRATING NAIDOC WEEK 2026 🖤💛❤️

This week, our children have been celebrating NAIDOC Week through meaningful experiences that recognise and celebrate the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Throughout the week, the children enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities, including sensory play inspired by the natural environment and creative art experiences that encouraged exploration, storytelling and self-expression. These experiences provided opportunities to learn about culture, connection to Country and the importance of respecting Australia's First Nations peoples.

We are proud to create learning experiences that inspire curiosity, inclusion and respect, helping our children build an appreciation for the world's oldest continuing cultures.
