Henny Penny Hatching Program

This experience has been part of our Biological Science unit focusing on lifecycles, food chains, habitats, evolution and more!

We have had several families reach out regarding adoptions so all chicks have now been allocated to families; however, if families would like to be added to the waitlist then they are still welcome to Mrs Knight.

BOOK WEEK - What a fantastic Book Week we have had at OPPS! It was wonderful to see so many of our students and staff getting involved in the celebrations, with some incredible costumes on display for our Book Week Parade. Today we took our Athletics team to compete at the Officer District Athletics Finals at Casey Fields. 🏃‍♀️🏃
We could not be more proud of the students who attended and gave their absolute best efforts in their events! 🥇🥈🥉
Also a huge congratulations to those students who will now progress to the Division Finals!

We are now just awaiting the overall school results…

Our Orchard Spark Award recipients for week 6!! Congratulations to you and our Grade 4 classes who enjoyed a wonderful few days at camp this week.

We’ve had another brilliant day and night at camp in Phillip Island! Lots of fun activities and great memories made. Some favourites were the giant swing, circotron and canoeing. Our last night was wrapped up with popcorn and a movie before some very tired Year 4s got a good nights sleep. The fun continues today with some games and activities before we make our way back to school.

It has been an action-packed day one of camp at Phillip Island! Everyone has been super excited getting into activities and settling in to their cabins. We loved our dinner and trivia night and are looking forward to two more days of activities and fun!
