These kids! From The Pocket Public School. They wrote and rehearsed this great little rap, and will be performing it at the After Disaster concert on Wednesday night in Mullumbimby. Timing couldn’t be more perfect.

PIANO LESSONS for SENIORS

As we get older with time on our hands, we look for new and interesting things to do. People often tell me that they are sorry they did not study piano or that they didn’t appreciate the lessons when they were offered (sometimes forced to take) them by their parents.

This is such a common story that I decided to offer a basic course in playing and reading music for piano for those who feel that they would now like to do this.

The first five lessons aim to provide a basic understanding of how piano music works. By the end of 5 weeks you’ll be able to play your favourite (easy) tunes with accompaniment.

Don’t be daunted! Learning to play piano requires the same skill as you need to tap your head and rub your tummy simultaneously! It’s practise each day for a few minutes. And when you can do it you will have activated both sides of your brain!
