I promote Breathwork Mastery – RBM as a path of self mastery
What happens In a RBM Breathwork session? After setting your intentions in life, the Instructions for the session are. - Breathe full/long, conscious, connected (no pauses) breathing…. Stay aware of your body sensations and how they change as you keep breathing, until you want to extrovert and your eyes want to open. (approximately 90 minutes)
Nine defining points of Rebirthing/Breathwork Mastery (RBM)
1. Emphasis on body sensation awareness as well as conscious breath during the breath session - RBM is a body/breath process.
2. Emphasis on self mastery - individuals are generating their process and gaining power from identifying limiting patterns of thinking, breathing and feeling, set from past trauma, limiting decisions or conditioning. Using breathwork, they are creating and embodying a new perspective, authentic relaxation and increasing self awareness - RBM is a creative tool.
3. Awareness of our process - when an individual is safe enough, supported enough, and ready enough (or in pain enough), they release or resolve their blocks through breathwork, within a self paced process – RBM allows time and awareness within this process
4. Emphasis on identifying and setting a well chosen intention and relating the content of the breath cycle to the intention in a debrief. RBM leads to living intentionally.
5. Using breath that allows a physical, mental, feeling/emotional or spiritual experience - starting with full, conscious, connected, subtle breath, in and out the nose (until or unless the nose closes). RBM validates all levels of inner experience.
6. Allowing the breath cycle of the session to unfold with minimum intervention – debriefing afterwards to integrate the mindful self awareness, inspiration and positivity of the content of the session. RBM highlights integration.
7. Staying with whatever emerges. in the breathwork session - physically, emotionally or visually, creates the maximum climate for clearing on all levels. Being present to, naming and identifying exactly what is happening during the breath cycle, without adding any interpretation. RBM uses whatever happens for self mastery.
8. Awareness of safety – past events may surface for clearing because of intention - the process is safe. Any intense symptoms can be immediately affected by a change in intention. Or, experiencing the intensity fully, knowing it was a traumatic past event that needed releasing towards resolution. RBM promotes self motivation.
9. Agenda-free facilitation focus with emphasis on expanding mindful self awareness - both for facilitator and participant. RBM self generates transformational personal development for participant and facilitator. The instructions for Intention ?
- specifically “what do you want to create a difference to in your life?”. The emphasis for each session? – it is on taking a step that is integrated, with a sense of completion, by the end of the session. Time frame for the session?
- At first time is given to intention for the session. After the approximately 90 minute breath cycle, time is given to debrief the breath session to allow relating the content to the intention. Two and a half hours for one to one. What if “nothing” happens?
- Subtle shifts are honoured as well as mild or intense catharsis or releases on any level ... all of which lead to resolution, over time. Breathwork Mastery RBM process
- is about having your life go in the direction you intend. Please note Breathwork was called “Rebirthing” in the 1960’s,70’s,80’s and early 90s because the participants in those decades were often regressing to birth memories when they were breathing consciously in a supported environment. Breathwork is a more common use of conscious connected breathing in the recent past.
