Destination Dreaming Destination Dreaming work with schools, businesses and sports teams to provide meaningful cultural and leadership immersions.

Destination Dreaming creates and facilitates intercultural and service learning programs for young people. We offer life-changing education programs for students, teachers and community groups. Over the past 17 years, we have provided inspiring educational opportunities for thousands of young people across the world, including supporting the construction of a primary school and clean water system

in Fiji, facilitation of English tutoring programs in remote Timor Leste and provision of adventure learning programs for disadvantaged Queenslanders.

Isa Lequ Momo Levu, Momo Solo,

I first met Momo Solo in the Fijian highlands in 1998 as 19 yr old. He and his younger brothers shared so much wisdom about life, about culture and family with me that help shape my adult life! He passed away in his beloved village last week. Im deeply saddened that I can’t be there today at his funeral with all the family. I will never forget you Momo 💔😢🙏🏽 Rest in Peace.

We’re onboard our flight home after 15 nights of incredible connections, learnings and absolute adventure!

Big vinaka to the whole VU team here, setting new standards in immersive cross cultural learning experiences.

Vinaka vaka levu to all the local people that take care of us and teach us so many rich life learnings.

Victoria University Fiji study tour update:

Its Fiji Day today, our last full day in Fiji! We’re off to South Sea Island for the day for some well earned R&R.

Sooo much to update you on. Here is our latest short video from the students reflecting on their experiences and expressing gratitude for VU Thrive Grants that enabled the students to attend.

Victoria University Outdoor leadership Fiji study tour update:

Bula! It is our 7th day in Fiji today, the students can’t believe how much we’ve been able to do in a week. Time in the school is a highlight and connecting with the family in Kenani.

After our first night in Nadi we have spent the last 5 nights in the highlands, feels so short considering the strong connectionsthat are being formed. 4 more nights in the highlands before heading to the coral coast this coming Monday.

St Ignatius College Timor-Leste immersion final update:

We’re all at Dili airport ready to board our flight to Darwin. Our first immersion with St Ignatius College Geelong since 2019 was full of wonderful connections and learning outcomes.

We’re all talking about coming back next year already.

Geelong Grammar School Fiji highlands immersion final update:

Big Vinaka vaka levu to this inaugural group of students and teachers from Geelong Grammar School traveling to the Fijian highlands with Destination Dreaming.

It’s been an incredible cultural adventure and the students have so many stories to share when they return home later tonight.

Vinaka to Master Aseri and the whole Navosa Central College community, we will continue to work with Fiji Book Drive to support your literary program.

Vinaka to all the Vunayawa family and Draiba community for welcoming us so warmly and teaching us so much about culture and the good life in the highlands.

We hope to see you again next year.
