As an avid surfer, I can't help but feel that you can experience all of life's ups and downs, challenges and triumphs in a single session out in the water. The sport sends you on a lifelong pursuit of the perfect wave, with the ultimate payoff being a deep, gnarly barrel... which in the surfing world is known as standing in the Green Room! Our mission

at Green Room Futures is to inspire young adults to get 'barrelled' in life! Take on life's challenges head on with a supported sense of purpose and direction, allowing your passions and aspirations to form a wave that you can ride to success in life through education and experience abroad. The US college system serves as a perfect platform for students and student-athletes to discover their true individual identity, allowing everyone the opportunity to pursue their passions while at the same time earning an educational qualification and personal growth that will stick with them forever.

Another amazing athlete signing… Tristan has committed to Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa for the fall season of this year! ✨

Tristan will join the Indian Hills CC Men’s Soccer team where they will compete in the ICCAC conference! ⚽️

He says, “At 18, moving to the USA on a scholarship would be a dream come true, and I’m super excited to begin this next chapter of my life. The opportunity to challenge myself in new ways—tackling tough academic subjects or pushing myself even further on the soccer field is what I am craving.“ ⚡️

We wish you the best of luck in your college journey, Tristan!! 🙌🏼

Shout out to the one and only, Green Room Futures big boss, Matt Wade who has recently signed his letter of intent to join the Green and Gold.

The commitment comes just at the right time with Australia and the USA facing off in a World Cup grudge match on Saturday morning.

Whilst it is going to be extremely painful to get his full sleeve American flag tattoo removed, Matt has been quoted saying “She’ll be right”.

⚽WELCOME NEWS⚽

We are super excited to announce another special athlete to our program, Ayla Corbet!! 💫

From Geelong, A is set to graduate from SEDA College at the end of this year and plans to head off to the U.S. the following year!!🇺🇸

She says, “I’m super excited to have the opportunity to meet new people from all different backgrounds and to combine high level sports whilst also studying something that I’m passionate about!!”🙌🏼

Ayla plans on studying Outdoor Education or Recreation whilst playing soccer in the U.S. ! 📚

The U.S. provides an amazing pathway for both these opportunities and we can’t wait to see where this career path takes you!

Another one of our athletes, sam altmann has committed to Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon, and plans to study something along the lines of Nutrition Science!📚

Sam arrives at Lane CC later this year, and plans to join the Lane Men's Soccer team for the Fall season where they compete in the Northwest Athletic Association ! ⚽️ Northwest Athletic Conference

Now, Ava plans to transfer to in Wilburton, Oklahoma who compete in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference (OCAC)!🤙🏼

Tom arrived at Lane in March earlier this year, and joined the team for their Spring season where they compete in the Northwest Athletic Association ! ⚽️

He says, “What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to experience a new country, meet people from around the world, and live a disciplined lifestyle of training and studying alongside like-minded individuals.” ⚡️

parmenter1 has officially committed to in Jamestown, NY! 🇺🇸

Rohan is a talented goalkeeper from Charlotte Bay, NSW and plans to head to college and study Exercise and Sports Science later this year! 📚

He says, “For me, this opportunity is one that even though not expected, is very real and an extremely exciting time in my life for the years in preparation and years to come whilst I’m in the USA.”
