Over the past few months, our preschoolers have been participating in an exciting and enriching pen pal program with Arkie Early Learning in Box Hill. This has been such an incredible opportunity for our children to connect beyond Oberon, share experiences, and learn about different communities.
One of the highlights of this program has been our collaborative book project titled "Two Communities, One Story." Throughout this journey, we’ve been sharing a new page every fortnight, where we explain and compare how we live each day. For example, we’ve been discussing what we see on our way to school versus what they see, or what we observe outside versus what they notice outside their environment.
This fortnight, we focused on the sounds around us. Our preschoolers listened carefully and then created a wonderful collection of sounds they hear at Circle.
