It's Bullying No Way week! The 2026 theme is Small Acts, Big Impact.
Bullying is everyone’s responsibility, and small acts can make a real difference. 
This year’s theme reminds us that actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world. Small actions – like including someone, speaking up or showing kindness – can create meaningful change. 
In our school and community, our goal is to build an environment where everyone belongs, diversity is celebrated and bullying is never accepted. During Bullying No Way Week, we encourage everyone to engage in small acts that can have a big impact against bullying.

Stage 2 enjoyed a wonderful Aboriginal Education Incursion at Oatley Park as part of our HSIE learning, celebrating and commemorating First Nations cultures and histories.
Throughout the day, students rotated through a range of engaging activities. They participated in (TIG) traditional Indigenous games with Ms Clark and Ms Fakhouri, explored the art of weaving with Ms Seiver and Ms Chalkiotis, and took part in a bushwalk and poetry workshop among the trees and along the river, led by Mrs McDonald and supported by Mrs Ramsay and Mrs Assad. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a beautiful natural learning space on our doorstep. Spending time on Country provides a meaningful opportunity to connect with the environment, deepen our understanding of Aboriginal culture, and acknowledge and respect the Traditional Custodians who have cared for this land for countless generations.
