Our Prep/1 class had a fantastic day on their excursion to Bunnings! 🛠️ Students had fun learning, exploring and getting hands-on with a range of activities. They played SPOTTO to find different materials, checked on the worms, tasted some herbs, made paint, tested the lawn mowers and built their very own toolboxes to take home. They then finished the day with a play at Giblin’s Reserve. What a wonderful day of learning and fun.
Thank you to Mrs Rosendale and Mr Barwick and parents Ebony and Tamika for attending with Miss Smith. Also a big thank you to Tessa from Bunnings for her guided tour and expertise.

Year 5/6 students have been getting creative while learning about the world’s different biomes in Science with Mrs Isles.🌳🐻‍❄️🌵 Students are designing and creating dioramas to showcase the unique climate, plants, animals and features of their chosen biome.

Primary classes enjoyed a fabulous performance by the talented team from Meerkat Productions, bringing the much-loved picture book ‘Dear Broccoli’ to life! 🥦📚Students were captivated by the fun, engaging performance and loved seeing this wonderful story unfold.

Congratulations to former student Trent Fenton, winner of the 4th season of Alone Australia! Trent outlasted nine other competitors, surviving an incredible 52 days in Finland, 200 kilometres inside the Arctic Circle, during winter to claim the $250,000 prize. What an extraordinary achievement and a wonderful testament to Trent’s resilience, determination and strength.

The Kinder class had a colourful time today creating rainbow paintings in Art with Miss Markham and Mrs Rosendale. 🎨 As they painted, students learned about the different colours of the rainbow, combining creativity with learning in a fun and hands-on experience. 🌈

Our Primary students welcomed the Questacon Science Circus for an exciting and interactive visit today. There were plenty of curious minds, big smiles and lots of ‘wow!’ moments along the way. 🧪🚀 A huge thank you to Questacon staff for an engaging and memorable day of Science.

As part of Literacy and Numeracy Week last week, the LIFT Program is providing all K-2 students with a take-home pack filled with fun literacy and numeracy activities today. 📖➕To further support learning at home, each pack also includes a pencil case, pencil, dice and counters. 🖍️🎲 We hope you enjoy spending some time learning, exploring and working together at home! 💕🏠

Our Year 1/2 students are engaging in daily reading fluency practice with Mrs Clark, focusing on accuracy, pace and expression. 📖 Students are enjoying timing each other, celebrating progress and seeing their growth in real time. It’s wonderful to see their confidence and fluency continue to develop each day! 🌟
