PJ Week at Flourish!

From Monday 20th July – Friday 24th July, Flourish Early Learning will be taking part in PJ Week! 💙

Children are invited to come dressed in their favourite pyjamas as we help raise awareness for children in foster care and show our support for an important cause.

Throughout the week, our classrooms will be filled with cosy outfits, fun experiences and meaningful conversations that encourage children to develop empathy, kindness and an understanding of caring for others.

We can’t wait to see all the creative, colourful and comfy pyjamas our children wear as we come together to support foster care awareness. 🌟

Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Flourish!

We’re excited to be hosting our Teddy Bears’ Picnic this Friday! 🎉

Children are invited to bring along their favourite teddy bear to join in on the fun. Please ensure all teddies are clearly labelled with your child’s name to help make sure everyone’s special friend makes it home safely. 💛

Throughout the day, children will enjoy a range of fun teddy bear-themed experiences in their classrooms, including activities, play opportunities and special moments shared with their cuddly companions.

To finish off our celebration, children and their teddies will enjoy a special afternoon tea together—creating memories, sharing stories and celebrating friendship through play. 🧸✨

Happy NAIDOC Week!

This week at Flourish Early Learning, our classrooms will be celebrating NAIDOC Week through a range of meaningful, hands-on learning experiences and activities.

Throughout the week, children will have opportunities to explore and celebrate the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples through art, storytelling, music, nature-based experiences, creative play and conversations that promote respect, inclusion and cultural understanding.

We are proud to embed these important learning opportunities into our curriculum, helping children develop an appreciation for Australia’s First Nations Peoples and fostering a strong sense of belonging, respect and connection.

We look forward to sharing our NAIDOC Week journey with our families throughout the week. 🖤💛❤️

Yoga is becoming part of our everyday learning at Flourish!

We’re excited to be embedding yoga experiences into the programs across all of our rooms, giving every child the opportunity to move, stretch, breathe and unwind in a fun and engaging way.

Yoga supports children’s physical development while also encouraging mindfulness, self-regulation, confidence and emotional wellbeing. Whether we’re pretending to be animals, exploring different poses or taking a moment to focus on our breathing, each session helps children develop important lifelong skills through play.

At Flourish, we believe in nurturing the whole child, and yoga is just one of the many ways we support healthy bodies, calm minds and happy hearts. 💚

Introducing Fit & Fun Fridays!

We’re excited to welcome Mr Lachlan, who will now be leading our Fit & Fun Fridays every Friday at 3:00pm!

Children will enjoy engaging in a variety of active games, movement experiences, team challenges and fun physical activities designed to build confidence, coordination and a love of staying active. 💪🤸‍♂️

Through play-based movement, our Fit & Fun Fridays encourage teamwork, resilience, gross motor development and healthy, active lifestyles—all while having lots of fun with friends!

We can’t wait to see our little learners moving, laughing and enjoying this exciting new weekly experience! 🌟
