Rose and Stephen Stacey are a father and daughter team, both accomplished equestrian riders. Growing up on family cattle stations in Qld and always having been around horses as a way of life for several generations, so much is second nature when it comes to riding and training horses. Representing Australia as a Pony Clubber in Showjumping and eventing took Stephen to England where he was lucky en
ough to further his training with British triple Olympic gold medalist Richard Meade. Another major influence of his cross country riding over the years has been Lucinda Green. Both Rose and Stephen understand the importance of classical dressage training and have had regular lessons with Ron Patterson for many years. Ron's influence shows on the Stacey competition horses with there natural balance, strength and self carriage even at speed, without the need for severe bits and other nasty gadgets. Recently George Morris has had a major influence on Rose's riding style and training techniques. Having regular showjumping lessons with Russell Johnstone keeps our horses tuned and competition ready. With this background and understanding of equine needs, client horses are treated to the utmost care and attention.
