Thank you to our current and past service men and women.
On Wednesday we had some special visitors. To honor our service men and women we had a morning tea on Wednesday for ANZAC Day. Thank you to James, Keltie, Wayne and Sandy who came in to share some information with the children and some wonderful army knowledge. The children were very excited to try on the different hats and asked all sorts of questions. Little Champions was privileged to be able to host a morning tea for James and Keltie who are current service personnel and Wayne who is a veteran and served for 20 years in the armed forces.
Thank you to all of our current and past defence service personnel for your dedication to keep us safe.

So exciting. Over the weekend Oakey held its annual Oakey Show. The children and staff worked together to make this lovely display and we were lucky enough to win first place for a school setting. We are beyond proud of everyone's efforts and the work our team have put into participating in our local community events. Well Done to the Little Champions team and talented children.

Meet the team!
Miss Joan is our Kindy teacher and our educational leader.
Miss Joan loves to spend time with her family and to get creative. Joan has her Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood teaching and has worked in the industry for over 20 years. Miss Joan enjoys scaffolding children's learning and utilising the natural environment to encourage children to explore and learn. Come in and meet Miss Joan with our Kindy room nearly at capacity you might be lucky and secure the last spot.
Our Kindy room is an approved Kindergarten Program which allows families to claim the 15 hours free Kindy a week.

Miss Amy is our Assistant Director and Nursery Room Lead. Miss Amy has been at our centre for 2 years with 17 years industry experience. In her spare time, Amy likes to watch movies and spend time with her family.
We currently have limited spaces in our Nursery so why not pop in for a tour and meet Miss Amy.

Meet The Team
Hi, my name is Tish and I am the Centre Director. I have been at Little Champions for 4 years. I hold my diploma and am studying my advanced diploma in community sector management. I believe that people are always learning and growing so instilling a life long love of learning with the children I teach is a passion of mine. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and build lego plants (they won't die if I forget to water them).
I am currently building on my leadership skills as I have been accepted into the ACECQA leadership and management program where I will build and develop my skills to lead our amazing centre.

Our Vacation Care children had a blast today doing their water paint games. Don't they look very colourful, the children were very excited and loved the looks of their shirts afterwards.

Our flags that fly out the front of the centre have been taken. They were donated to us by the local member of parliament and someone has taken them and a table that was in our playground. This is very disappointing. If you know anything about the missing flags please contact the centre.
