🔦 S T U D E N T S P O T L I G H T 🔦
Congratulations to Archie S who represented Oak Flats Public School at the State NSW/ACT/QLD Interschools Snowsport Championships this week.

Archie competed in the Alpine GS Multiclass event in the Year 5/6 division. Snow conditions were not great however Archie still competed with his usual determination and skill and came away with another podium result of 3rd place.

His result has qualified him for National Championships in September, pending any snow left!

Well done Archie and best of luck in September ⛷

⭐ A F L S U P E R S T A R S ⭐
The OFPS AFL team went to Myimbarr Oval, Flinders, in July and played 4 games in a round robin. The team took the field with 8 players with all other teams having a minimum of 12 players and came away undefeated. They then played in the finals and won! They will be heading to regional finals in September. They played with sportsmanship, skill, determination and teamwork. Thank you to Mr Jesse who supported the team on the day. As well as a special shout out to Luke H who provided training for the team prior to the day as well as co-coaching on the day and assisting with training leading up to regionals.

🎶STAGE 1 CoS MUSIC FESTIVAL🎶
We are excited to remind you that the CoS Stage 1 Music Festival is happening this Friday, 21 August 2026. Please see the important information below to help your visit run smoothly:

➡Onsite parking will be available - please follow staff directions onto the oval when you arrive
➡Please enter through the gates on The Esplanade from either 10:30am or 12:30pm (depending on the performance you are viewing)
➡Doors will open at 10:40am or 12:40pm

For those families who have already purchased tickets, they will be sent home with students today. If you have not yet purchased tickets, they are still available to purchase online via School Bytes. If you require additional tickets, please contact the school office for assistance.

We look forward to celebrating our Stage 1 students' musical achievements with you!

⭐NETBALL SUPERSTARS⭐
The OFPS netball team went to Berkeley Netball Courts last week and played 5 games in a round robin. We came away undefeated and will be heading to the regional finals in September! We played against teams with determination, skill and teamwork. Thank you to Kayla B for supporting and co-coaching our team today!
