Balarang Public School

As part of National Reconciliation Week, Balarang students participated in a Reconciliation Walk along Lake Illawarra last Friday. K-2 students walked to Skiway Park, and Years 3-6 students walked to Boonerah Point.

Congratulations to our Netball team who represented Balarang at Shell Cove today. We were not victorious but enjoyed the game and the wonderful opportunity. Thank you to Mrs Clinch for training the team and preparing them for the game.

The 2026 Reconciliation Flag Walk took place today. Balarang students embraced culture going ‘All in’ with students across the Shellharbour area. Thank you to our families and Aunty Lindy for your support today.

Our senior sports teams have been busy in the past week!

Our boys and girls soccer teams played against Tullimbar Public School, both came away with a win and will move on to the next round in the knockout. Congratulations!

Our boys touch football team played a close game against Warilla Public School that went into extra time. They weren't able to come away with a win but the boys played very well and we are proud of their efforts.

PLP conversations today with our beautiful Aunty Lindy and Mr Higgins. Thank you to the families who joined and to the children and teachers who shared our growth and future learning goals.
