For some children the first day is easy. For others it takes a little more time and that is completely normal. 🌿

At Early Learners Hub we build the relationship before the first day even begins. An orientation visit to explore the space and meet the team, open communication with families throughout the day and educators who take the time to understand each child individually.

The outdoor kitchen at our Burdekin Hub gives our children the chance to explore, experiment and create with real materials every single day.

Measuring, mixing, pouring and discovering what happens when you combine things builds early science and maths thinking in the most hands on way possible. Add fresh air, natural materials and a group of curious children and you have some of the richest learning experiences we offer.

STEM activities are some of our favourites at our Blackbutt Hub and this one was a good one. 🌿

CDs, light, reflection and mini LEGO all in the one session. Our children explored what the CDs did to light and then turned them into building platforms for their creations. Two different investigations from one simple material and every bit of it driven by the children themselves.

Our Macleay Place preschool children have been busy in the Garden Hub as spring gets underway. 🌿

Seedlings going in, watering cans in hand and plenty of questions about what is growing and why. Gardening at this age builds responsibility, patience, scientific curiosity and a genuine connection to where food comes from. Our children take it very seriously and we love every moment of it.
