It’s time to get those costumes ready!
Students are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character as we celebrate Book Week together.
We can’t wait to see all of the wonderful characters come through our gates!

Puggle Club Update 🦔

A reminder that Puggle Club is cancelled this Friday 28th August due to our whole-school Melbourne excursion.

We’ll be back on Friday 4th September, and we’d love our Puggle families to join us for our Father’s Day Breakfast & STEM Morning! 🍳🏗️

Come along for an egg and bacon breakfast and some fun, hands-on STEM activities with your little one.

Please RSVP to the school by Monday 31st August to help us with catering.

We look forward to seeing our Puggles again next Friday! 💛

Melbourne Excursion – This Friday 28 August!
We have a very exciting day coming up with our Melbourne excursion on Friday 28 August!
We are lucky enough to be heading into Melbourne to see Carnival of the Animals at Hamer Hall, as well as visiting the State Library of Victoria.
Please ensure students arrive at school by 7:45am, ready for us to leave at 8:00am sharp. It is really important that everyone arrives on time so we can get away promptly.
Students will need to bring:
Recess and lunch packed in a named bag
A named drink bottle
Please make sure students have enough food and water to keep them going for our big day out.
We are really looking forward to another fantastic day in Melbourne together!

Today we read I’d Rather Be a Shark, where the boy decided he would much rather be a shark than have any manners!

To celebrate Book Week, we created our very own long lunch table and put our best manners to the test. We enjoyed eating lunch together while practising polite conversation, taking turns, using our table manners and showing respect to those around us.

Safe to say, our manners were much better than the boy’s! 🦈📚🍽️

Father’s Day Breakfast & STEM Morning

We invite all of our dads, grandads and special people to join us for a special Father’s Day morning at Nyora Primary School!
Come along and enjoy a delicious egg and bacon breakfast, followed by some fun, hands-on STEM activities and challenges with your child.

Lots to Look Forward to at Nyora Primary School!
We have a busy few weeks ahead, so here’s a quick look at some of the exciting events coming up!

WEEK 7 – BOOK WEEK 📚

It’s time to start planning those costumes! Students are invited to come dressed as a favourite book character.
Friday 28th August – Excursion
We're off the the city to see the Carnival of Animals and visit the state Library.

WEEK 8 – FATHER’S DAY 🍳
Friday 4th September – Father’s Day Breakfast & STEM Morning
We invite our dads, grandads and special people to join us for an egg and bacon breakfast followed by some fun, hands-on STEM activities with the students. Keep an eye out for invitations and RSVP slips coming home soon!

WEEK 10 – SWIMMING 🏊
Our swimming program will take place during Week 10. Information has been sent home, please ensure all permission slips are back ASAP.

📚✨ Book Week is almost here! ✨📚

We're excited to celebrate Book Week at Nyora Primary School with our Book Week Dress Up Day on Thursday 27th August!

Students are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character and join us for a day celebrating the joy of reading, imagination and storytelling. Whether it's a beloved classic, a magical creature or a modern favourite, we can't wait to see everyone's creative costumes.

Book Week is a wonderful opportunity to inspire a love of books and celebrate the incredible worlds that reading can open for us.

We encourage families to start planning costumes now – remember, homemade costumes can be just as fun and creative!

We can't wait to see our school filled with amazing book characters! 📖💙💛

Puggle Club is back tomorrow! 🐾

Join us at Nyora Primary School from 9:00–10:00am for an hour of fun, play and connection.

Join us for one hour of fun each week throughout Term 3, where children can enjoy engaging activities, make new friends and learn through play in a welcoming environment.

🎉 What a Wonderful 100 Days of School Celebration! 💯
Today was filled with smiles, laughter and special memories as we celebrated 100 Days of School with our amazing students and their special people.
We began the day by recognising our students' achievements with certificates before welcoming families into our classrooms. Together, everyone enjoyed a range of fun activities, including creating Fruit Loop necklaces, decorating squished face pot plants, completing 100-themed STEM challenges, taking part in a 100 bear hunt, colouring and so much more!
A huge thank you to all of our families and special people who joined us today. Your support and involvement made the celebration even more meaningful for our students. We are so proud of how far our learners have come in just 100 days and can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store! 💛📚🎈
