Redeemer Lutheran School is seeking nominations for School Council members to serve a three-year term commencing in January 2027.

Serving on the School Council provides a valuable opportunity to contribute your skills, experience, and leadership in support of our school's Christ-centred mission and strategic direction.

We are particularly seeking nominations from individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Educational Leadership
- Human Resources
- Legal

The School Council meets eight times per year. All Council members are required to hold a current Working With Children Check and complete RRHAN-EC and Valuing Safe Communities training.

Redeemer Lutheran School and ELC came alive with colour, creativity and much-loved characters as students and staff celebrated Book Week with a special Dress Up Day.

Embracing this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories,” our school community celebrated the magic of storytelling and the joy that books bring. From classic characters to creative favourites, it was wonderful to see imaginations come to life and our shared love of reading take centre stage.

National Science Week was a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore, discover and think like scientists!

Inspired by this year’s theme of 'Seeds of Science: Nurturing knowledge for all', students took part in hands-on STEM investigations and creative learning experiences, exploring everything from seed dispersal and plant life cycles to the incredible variety of colours, textures and sizes found in nature.

From magnifying glasses and digital microscopes to seed mosaics, mandalas, seed bombs and cress heads, curiosity was in full bloom! Students also enjoyed time in the veggie garden and a visit to the Garden Shop.

Through hands-on exploration and inquiry, our students were Curious as they asked questions and tested ideas, Courageous in trying new things, Connected to the natural world around them, and Caring as they learned about the importance of nurturing life.

What a fantastic week of science, creativity and discovery!
