Things I inherited from my mum that I still do / use / say today ……. PT 1:

•Clean sheets every week ALWAYS- certain days too
•It’s windy today - quick get the sheets or towels on.
•OMO washing powder
•Beach holidays ALWAYS
•Got a head ache, ocean swim. Got a sore body, ocean swim. Need to shift this mood, ocean swim.
•If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all.
•Freeze up blocks of water from a Chinese container.
•Oh that’ll be good left overs for the kids
•Get them into a sport
•Get them in swimming it’ll be the best thing for them.
•Swimming is a must
•Go for a swim
•Go for a run you’re annoying me
•Romance books ALWAYS left around the house
•Have a piece of fruit

Let’s talk food for something diff……..

I don’t count calories anymore
I definitely eat way too much chocolate
I still drink way too much alcohol - this is something I really really need to work on (eventually) but for now I’m doing okay managing it. 😂

holy smokes Batman I am living my best food life atm and I’m not mad about it. ( except for my running)

With my above statement, about running it’s obvious that it’s easier when you’re a little lighter (duh) however I’m lifting WAY heavier and I enjoy that side of things WAY more. It’s definitely a TOUGH balance to figure out when you train as much as I do and you have 7263744 goals to get this year 😂☝🏻but I think I’m at a point where I LOVE being able to intuitively eat and enjoy all of the things that I love.

My body really struggles to process all the carbs and fats and I always hold ALOT of water , however eating all the carbs is necessary with training. My body really doesn’t like a lot of the FODMAP foods such as; onions garlic etc etc (cramp city B) and to be honest it struggles with red wine too (LOL) which is my absolute fave thing in the world!!!!!

When I get my period I no joke fluctuate a good 2-4kgs on the scales (no exaggeration there).

I try and keep my dinners as clean as possible especially during the week as this helps with my sleep and you and I both know that I froth a 8.5-9.5hr sleep. I personally don’t like having too many carbs at dinner time too, this is something I’ve done forever and it works for me. 🙏🏼

Anyway I just thought I’d share something completely different on my page.
