Training with Commercial Cookery students in Bundaberg this week. Suraj from Kacys Motel Bargara Restaurant and Wine Bar had the dish of the day – Seafood Paella! Too good to eat I reckon!

What other region specific foods can we come up with?
Only a pie if it’s made in Australia... if not would that just make it an enclosed savoury pastry elsewhere?
The obvious one to me is a potato scallop. Clearly they are only produced in QLD.... anywhere else it’s just a potato cake... and dare I say it, not as good...
