At this month’s Company Connect meeting, we celebrated our only June birthday alongside International Donut Day. 🎉 Many of you will know Erin, who has now been part of the CTA Training Specialists team for thirteen years. Thank you, Erin, for your dedication and the positive impact you’ve made over the years.

We also put the spotlight on our trainer Pandora in our ‘Hello, my name is …’ segment, where she shared her interests, passions, and life outside of work. It’s been wonderful learning more about our team members through these presentations.

We’re also pleased to welcome further growth within our TRA Administration team. As an approved TRA Skills Assessment provider, we’re delighted to have Bruna, Monicca and Matt as part of the team.

Moments like these remind us that it’s our people and the connections we build that make CTA such a great place to be.

Clubs Queensland, Keno and CTA Training Specialists are pleased to announce that enrolments for the ECLIPS 2026/2027 cohort are now open! 👏

The ECLIPS program has been developed to address the critical skills shortage within the Queensland Club industry. ECLIPS is designed specifically for valued team members who demonstrate the qualities and ambition to become future leaders.

This ECLIPS cohort will be exclusively for South-East Queensland venues. The program will be limited to the first 30 students per cohort.

This National Careers Week we’re highlighting the pathway to becoming a qualified chef through the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

This nationally recognised qualification prepares students for professional chef roles, covering food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management. Apprentice chefs receive extensive hands-on training in commercial kitchens, guided by our industry-experienced and qualified chef trainers.

An incredible day with Arethusa College at their Careers Expo!

It was wonderful to see so many students already so passionate about working in the hospitality industry, including some very enthusiastic future chefs in the making! 👏

It was an absolute pleasure for both Riaan Greyling our Commercial Cookery trainer and Amy Attwood from the Marketing team to have this opportunity to connect with students.

We look forward to working with Arethusa College and training students through our business and commercial cookery pathways for the hospitality industry. The future of hospitality is looking bright!

When CTA staff come together to connect. 🤝

At the start of each month our team gathers for our Company Connect meeting. This is a time for leadership and each team to share what is happening within the company.

Our Internal Customer Service team has launched an exciting new initiative called ‘My name is…’ so we can get to know each other better. Thank you to ICS staff member and trainer Paul Davies for being the first off the ranks.

It was also a rare moment with all three of our Michelles in the room at the same time. If you’ve ever called the CTA office and asked for Michelle, you’ll understand the confusion this causes.

We have Michelle Bates our Online Business Development Manager, Michelle W from Student Services and Michelle Bates who is our Work Health Safety and Compliance Advisor.
