I’m sitting at home scrolling through Reels, checking out new products for the shop… and I swear every second person is whispering at me.

So naturally I’m now wondering…

Should I be whispering in my Reels too? 👀🤣

Because apparently I did not get the memo.

Okay… I may have made a slightly ridiculous deal with my daughter. 😂

This is Ash.

She was just 7 years old when she first started appearing in videos for our Australian Made Kids Travel Journal. 🇦🇺

For more than 11 years, this little journal has been one of our absolute best sellers and has travelled with thousands of Aussie families on road trips, caravan holidays and adventures all over the country.

And Ash has basically grown up alongside it.

So I asked her if she’d come back and do another video for us now that she’s 18.

Her response?

“Mum… get 100,000 views and I’ll come back.” 🤣

She laughed.

I laughed.

Pretty sure she thought I was joking.

I was not. 😂

So naturally, I dug through the archives and found all these old videos she probably hoped had disappeared forever. 🤣

And now I need to know…

ONE YEAR AGO… 🎉
Are you loving the bigger shop?

We officially opened the new section of Adventure Awaits with possibly the cheesiest ribbon cutting in Numurkah history. 😂

Watching this back now is so funny because we remember thinking…

“WOW. Look at all this SPACE!”

Fast forward 12 months and somehow we’ve managed to fill pretty much every inch of it. 🤣

So much has changed in one year - more products, more displays, more customers through the doors and plenty more chaos behind the scenes. ❤️

We’re still incredibly grateful we took the leap and expanded.

Happy 1st birthday to the “new” section of the shop! 🎂
