Now I often hesitate to stay in China or go back to Australia. I have lived in Australia for ten years, but I don't have any real good friends, and there is no food available like in China. Australia has a beautiful house and my cats, but it's very lonely, just living on my own. Even if I go to Sydney, I can't find the same food as in China, and I can't have friends to get together and talk about it. The only advantage is that in case of serious illness, Australia is free, but now free only if you can get in the queue.

Autumn in China and spring in Australia. A bowl of shredded potatoes for lunch comforted my Chinese stomach. The spring rain was continuous, and it was warm and cold. I sat on the lazy sofa, and the cat lay at my feet. Listening to the rustling rain outside the window, the world is quiet. It's not worth talking about all the bad things, there's nothing ugly worth spending your life worrying about.

Today's dinner is plum vegetables meat pie, pumpkin shepherd's purse pie. Vegetable rice with a meat ball, a small cucumber.

This morning I made glutinous rice balls, light sweet and glutinous. I also made some chicken tofu meat balls, outside is crispy, inside is tender.
