We’re kicking off a new monthly feature at The Regional Business Room, shining a light on some of the great businesses doing great things across regional Australia.

And our very first spotlight goes to South Coast Butcher’s Pantry. 💙

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes with this local business.

They’re serving the Shoalhaven with premium quality meat at value added prices, with their popular weekly meat packs and other initiatives giving local families quality, value and convenience.

They’re supplying takeaway businesses, providing meat for raffles across the region, supporting charities, taking on new contracts and continuing to grow both their wholesale and retail business.

And their online community is growing with them.

Since we’ve been working together, their Facebook following has grown from around 2,500 to more than 5,000, and they’re now averaging around 660,000 Facebook views every month.

That’s more than just a social media number. It means more people discovering the business, seeing their products and knowing where to find them.

But great marketing only works when there’s a great business behind it.

Premium quality meat. Great service. Consistency. And a local team that genuinely looks after its customers.

And they’re not standing still.

Their Greenwell Point shop is currently being renovated, ready for a fresh relaunch heading into summer.

We’re also working alongside them on a brand new website and online ordering system launching in October, making it even easier for customers to shop with them.

💙 THE POCKET DIAL

Accidentally pocket dials me while apparently organising the really important business matters of the day.

What do I hear?

“Can you grab five long life milks and four packets of biscuits tomorrow?”

Glad someone’s got the critical business operations under control. 😂

💙 THE SIX MINUTE MEETING

I arrive for our meeting already running late.

He arrives at approximately the same speed as a V8 Supercar entering pit lane.

“We don’t have time.”

Me: “I need five minutes to fix your Instagram.”

Him: “You’ve got six.”

Righto. No pressure then. 😂

💙 THE MEETING THAT MAY NEVER HAPPEN

Meetings actually held: 0

Apparently we’re trying again tomorrow.

I’ve put it in the calendar, but emotionally I’m not committing yet. 😂

💙 THE RELUCTANT CONTENT CREATOR

Ask this client to get in front of a camera for his business?

Absolutely not.

Give him a community issue he genuinely cares about and suddenly we can’t get him away from the microphone.

Turns out we found his content niche. 😂

💙 THE WARDROBE CHECK

Apparently business consulting now includes pre photo wardrobe inspections.

Add it to the service list. 😂

💙 THE GLOBAL VISION

We’re working on the geographical discrepancy. 😂

Meanwhile, another client has somehow managed to double his growth and double his travel participation.

We clearly need to investigate his business model because apparently the rest of us are doing this wrong. 😂

And then there’s me…

Trying to connect Instagram accounts, organise meetings, create campaigns, make introductions, build businesses, chase people, keep projects moving and occasionally remind grown adults where they’re supposed to be.

Regional business consulting.

Nobody tells you about this part. 😂

But genuinely, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

💜 A GREAT COMMUNITY DAY FOR AN EVEN GREATER CAUSE!

What a fantastic day at the Bravehearts Charity Race Day at Shoalhaven City Turf Club yesterday.

We were proud to attend and play a small part in the day, helping Wendy and the incredible Bravehearts committee, capturing some great moments and supporting an event that brings our Shoalhaven community together for such an important cause.

A huge congratulations to Wendy and the entire Bravehearts committee, and a big thank you to Shoalhaven City Turf Club for hosting such a fantastic community event. Much needed funds were raised to help Bravehearts continue providing vital support and services in our region. 💜

We also have to give a special shout out to two of our clients who got right behind the day. Shoalhaven Recycling, a major sponsor, sponsored their own race and had the honour of taking part in the winning horse presentation. And the team at EHD Concrete Sleepers were working behind the scenes as part of the Bravehearts committee helping bring the day together, including the hilarious inflatable horse races that definitely brought plenty of laughs! 🏇😂

🎬 FIVE HOURS OF LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION AT SELECT SITE SOLUTIONS!

What a day yesterday with our client Mitch and the team at Select Site Solutions, working alongside the amazing Innovisuals crew for a massive content sweep.

Five hours of cameras, drones, trucks, skip bins, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of action while the Innovisuals team worked their magic. 🎥🚛

And a massive shoutout to Corey from Be the Vibe, who stepped in as our spokesperson for the day and absolutely nailed it. Natural, confident and up for everything we threw at him. 😂 You’re a star, Corey. Thanks so much for doing this for us!

A huge effort from Mitch and the Select Site Solutions team too for pulling off an absolute cracker of a day and getting everything lined up for the shoot.
