Thanks Austswim I love the wall activities
With this pandemic how do we go getting / doing our CPR or first aid?
Just finished the two free PD programs, here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia where I'm on a Staff PD week in lieu of Khmer New Year holidays. With my license due for renewal in August and the possibility of me getting Down Under to do any training before then extremely unlikely due to COVID-19, this was a great option, especially when I can't afford the World Wide Swim School option. Thank you AustSwim. They were good, but the Tips and Techniques would be even better if there was a quiz at the end. The videos are excellent, and I'll certainly be revisiting these in the future. I think the Rock and Roll one was my favourite, but they were all good. I will definitely be thinking about some of the Wall exercises when we eventually get school back in session and the kids back in the water.
Here are some interesting resources and tips for you to stay productive and grow your knowledge while at home. We are sharing details about FREE PD courses from Austswim, positive narration about swimming to a child, an inspiring book recommendation, and a tip to tackle your Covid19 stress, in our special swim teachers newsletter that we have just released - shorturl.at/bnvAR If you haven't seen it, check your Spam or Promotions folder. Please remember to mark it as Not Spam, so that you continue to receive our newsletters and updates.
I recommend doing Austswim's Tips and technique's 1. Videos were of an excellent quality. Heather Reilly

Royal Life Saving data shows that 75% of children stop swimming lessons before the age of 9 years and that 40% of 12-year-olds are not achieving national benchmarks for swimming.

The aim of the National Swimming and Water Safety Framework launched earlier this month is to ensure that children learn the essential skills they need to keep safe in water.

The Framework looks to inform Government, policy makers and swim schools, but it is also an important resource for parents to understand the lifelong benefits that learning to swim provides.
