Attention all pilots flying around the Gold Coast this weekend!

Temporary restricted airspace will be in place within 5NM of Surfers Paradise, Qld for the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast 2026.

The restrictions are expected to be in place on:
> Thursday 13 August between 10:30AM-3:30PM (AEST)
> Friday 14 August – Sunday 16 August between 10:00AM-5:00PM (AEST)

All pilots operating in the area should review the AIP SUP and monitor NOTAMs for the latest updates and operational information.

If you fly a drone, the air show is not the place to use it – leave it at home. Always check a CASA verified drone safety app to know where it’s safe to fly: https://bit.ly/Drone-Safety-apps

Airspace restrictions can change at any time. It is your responsibility to make sure that you do not fly in areas where restrictions are in place.
