Established in February 2003, The Performance Studio was created to offer quality training in all aspects of the performing arts. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, and at the centre of everything we do is our desire to be creative. We encourage everyone we work with to develop and share their creativity - for whatever outcome - be it a career in the industry, self confidence, self expression, a better work / life balance or simply for FUN! Studio Directors Yvette & Brendan Monger, both qualified professional actors, are committed to providing industry standard training to the Western Sydney Region.

We are so proud of our RAD Ballet students for their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout this week’s Ballet Intensives as they prepare for their upcoming exams.

It was such a treat to welcome Emma from Melbourne to share her knowledge and expertise with our dancers. The week was rounded off beautifully yesterday, with our students completing their mock exams and showcasing all they have been working towards.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful parents for bringing the students along during the school holidays and ensuring they arrived looking impeccable and ready to dance - your support makes such a difference.

A huge thank you to Emma and Erica for their expertise, encouragement, care and dedication in providing our TPS students with such strong ballet training. We are incredibly grateful for the time and support you have given our dancers.

We look forward to seeing all our students take the next step and complete their exams soon. Wishing everyone the very best💙

THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR 2026 COMPETITION SEASON!
And what a way to finish✨

On Sunday, we ended our 2026 comp season on a high - sharing our routines at the Platinum Finals, with both our 8/U and Open teams taking out their divisions! While it’s always lovely to have our work recognised, trophies have never been the reason we do what we do.

At TPS, we strive to create work that tells a story, showcases excellent technical training and, most importantly, connects with, and engages an audience - that is what matters to us.

We also remain completely uncompromising when it comes to child appropriateness in everything we create - from song choices and costuming through to choreography. Our children deserve to be challenged, trained and celebrated without ever compromising their age or integrity.

We have, and always will, run our own race.

We create stories, we develop technically strong performers and we train our students to become true triple threats.
We will continue to hold ourselves to the high standards, determination and exemplary work ethic that we expect of ourselves at TPS. Because for us, it has never been about chasing what everyone else is doing. It’s about knowing who we are, what we value and the kind of performers we want to develop.

A massive shout-out to our incredible TPS families who walk this journey with us year after year. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for cheering them on through all the hard work, rehearsals, nerves, highs and everything in between.

One of the greatest rewards is watching the growth and development of our Performer Program students each year - seeing them become stronger, more confident, more versatile and more fearless performers. We are SO proud of the determination, commitment and work ethic our team has shown throughout this season.

An enormous thank you to our choreographers G*i, Bronte, Peta, and Marie, for the extensive time, creativity and care that has gone into creating your work, as well as the entirety of our Tutor Team - Brendan, Yvette, Jess, Erica and Gemma for your effort and support throughout this season!

OUR TPS SHOWCASE SEASON!💙

We love seeing our TPS students exploring all sides of the performing arts industry! Not every TPS student goes on to perform - some discover a passion for the behind-the-scenes world of filmmaking, casting, lighting and sound, stage management, props and production.

One of our TPS Acting students, Stella, recently had the incredible opportunity to observe the bump-in of ‘The Book of Everything’ at Belvoir.

Guided by lighting designer Nigel Levings, Stella learnt how the lighting desk works, helped create props for the production, watched a rehearsal and company run of the show, and observed the technical process of bringing the show together.

Stella said:

“It was an incredible experience of watching how the roles work together to bring theatre to life - something much more complex than anyone can describe.”

The experience has sparked a profound interest for Stella, in assistant stage management and prop making.

Stella will now be completing work placement at the Sydney Theatre Company in November!

At TPS, we want our students to experience the industry from every angle. Whatever path they choose, we want them to leave TPS with a genuine love, understanding and respect for the performing arts. We couldn’t be prouder of our students for getting out there, exploring, learning and discovering where their own passions might take them💙

What an incredible weekend at the Carnival Dance Challenge!

Long days, but filled with creativity, passion and the joy of sharing the weekend with so many amazing studios. It was a privilege to watch, perform and be part of such a fabulous event - we are SO proud of Team TPS💙

This weekend was especially special as it marked our graduates’ final eisteddfod with TPS - and boy, did they go out with a bang!
Our grads have literally grown up at TPS, alongside teammates who have shared studios, stages, rehearsals, laughter and countless memories. It’s a huge milestone and one we are so proud to celebrate with them.

TPS family is everything to us - the heartbeat of our collective creativity and growth, both as performers and as humans.

Over the weekend, we were incredibly grateful for the acknowledgement from the adjudicators, fellow studios and, most importantly, the audience, because we are, and always will be, storytellers.

What a fabulous weekend. So proud, so grateful, and SO much love for our TPS family.

Over the weekend, our Stage 1, Stage 2/3 and Stage 3/5 Performer Program Teams attended the Ultimate Dance Spectacular. And we could not be prouder of the way the students pushed themselves, committed to their stories, showed up for their team, and left their absolute all on the stage - representing TPS and everything we strive for, in such a commendable, professional manner.

Thank you to our incredible choreographers, G*i Massingham, Bronte Monger, Peta Anderson and Marie Ikonomou, for your creativity, and amazing routines that just keep getting better with every performance! Thank you to our TPS parents for your constant support and assistance in making these days possible.

A very warm welcome to Erica Mirarchi, who joins The Performance Studio team today.

We are so excited to have Erica as part of our TPS family. Bringing a wealth of experience across performance, teaching, sports science and psychology, Erica is passionate about helping every dancer develop strong technique, confidence, and a genuine love of dance.

We look forward to continuing to build a strong classical ballet foundation for our students and know they will benefit greatly from Erica’s knowledge, enthusiasm and experience.

Congratulations to our Grade 5 and Intermediate Foundation students on successfully completing their RAD Ballet exams last term!

It was a pleasure to present our dancers with their certificates and results, celebrating the dedication, perseverance and hard work they have shown throughout their exam journey - we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved.

The presentation was made even more special as it was Emma’s final day at TPS before beginning her exciting new chapter in Melbourne.

Emma, thank you for the care, encouragement and commitment you have shown every student throughout your time at TPS. Your passion for teaching and the genuine relationships you built with our dancers have left a lasting impact on our studio and community.

While we will miss you dearly, we are so excited for everything that lies ahead and wish you every success in this next adventure. Thank you for everything you’ve given to our TPS family - you will always be a treasured part of it.

Congratulations once again to all of our exam students - we can’t wait to see where your dance journey takes you next!

What a fantastic weekend for Team TPS at the Platinum Dance Competition!

We are so incredibly proud of every one of our students who took to the stage and performed with confidence, commitment and heart. It was a privilege to share our work alongside so many talented studios, and we loved being part of such a professionally run eisteddfod - performing in such a beautiful theatre was a wonderful experience for our students.

A huge thank you to our amazing TPS parents for your support, ensuring everyone arrived on time and looking so beautifully presented. Competition weekends truly take a village, and we are so grateful for our incredible TPS family - your support behind the scenes makes moments like these possible.

We were honoured to have our work recognised and, even more importantly, to share so many special moments with fellow performers and studios throughout the weekend.

Congratulations again to all of Team TPS - you represented our studio with talent, kindness and professionalism. We couldn’t be prouder!

What an incredible weekend! As the curtains close on our Mid-Year Performance, we are overwhelmed with pride for our amazing TPS community.

For us, this performance was about giving our students a safe, encouraging environment to take to the stage and share their hard work, growth, and passion.

The real breakthrough happens now…

This week, our students will return to class walking a little taller, carrying a deepened confidence to face big challenges, and a true self-belief in their unique creativity and skills.

They aren’t just coming back as strong performers - they are coming back with gained confidence, and a sense of unwavering support from their community who cheered them on every step of the way

Thank you to our incredible TPS families for your endless support, and to our wonderful students for sharing your talents with us. You remind us why we do what we do every single day!

A huge congratulations to our wonderful Performer Program students for their first competition of the season! Yesterday, we attended the ‘Diamond Star’ competition, and were blown away by the commitment, professionalism and camaraderie our students brought on and off the stage. We also loved watching the impressive performances from all of the competing studios.

It was great to receive such positive feedback and strong results for our routines, but more importantly, we loved watching the way all three of our age groups, worked together and put their best foot forward - every team gave 100% and it shone through on stage.

An enormous thank you to our phenomenal choreographers G*i Massingham, Bronte Monger, Peta Anderson and Marie Ikonomou for your incredible work.

This was such an exciting start to our competition season and we can’t wait to continue developing these routines and watch our students grow and flourish both individually and as a team throughout the year.
