🌟 Father's Day Learning Journey 🌟

Monday 7th September 2026

Join us as we celebrate the special people in our lives with a fun-filled afternoon of learning, laughter, and quality time together!

We'll kick things off at 1pm with a sausage sizzle lunch, then it's time to enjoy a range of activities with your child. Dads and special guests are warmly invited to come along and be part of the fun.

⚽ Join in a game of soccer or footy
🎲 Challenge your child to a board game
🛝 Enjoy some playground fun together

From 1:50pm to 3:05pm, special guests can choose from a variety of hands-on activities, including:

🔨 Design & Technology Construction with Mr Thornton
✈️ Paper Plane Challenge

We are incredibly proud of our Djara students who last Friday, performed at the RAC Arena One Big Voice concert.

Sharing the stage with thousands of students from across Western Australia, our students represented Northcliffe District High School with confidence, enthusiasm and pride. Their hard work, commitment and love of music shone through in an unforgettable performance.

Congratulations to all involved and thank you to our staff and families for their support in making this wonderful opportunity possible.

📚🚜 Book Week Fun! 🚜📚

Today we celebrated Book Week with a fantastic George the Farmer dress-up day! Our parade was a huge success, with students showing off their wonderful costumes to family and friends.

We saw farmers, cowboys, princesses, bees, rabbits, and even a clever fox, with everyone looking absolutely amazing. Following the parade, parents, carers, and siblings joined students to share a read of George the Farmer together.

A big thank you to everyone who dressed up, participated, and came along to support the parade. It was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate the joy of reading!

🎵Musica Viva Incursion - Rhythm Works 🎵

This morning, our students enjoyed a fantastic visit from Musica Viva Australia's "Rhythm Works" program.

Presenters Kevan and Elijah had students actively involved throughout the performance, encouraging them to sing along, answer questions and explore the many ways rhythm can be found in music and everyday life.

A big thank you to Kevan and Elijah for bringing such an energetic and educational experience to our school.

Mari - Museum Excursion

Our students had a wonderful time visiting our local museum! They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the exhibits and discovering fascinating stories from the past as part of their HASS unit. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to make connections between the past and the present and deepen their understanding of how our history has shaped the world around us.

A big thank you to Mr Ken Gwynne "Grandad" and the Northcliffe Pioneer Museum staff for helping make the experience so enjoyable and educational!

Yesterday, our Year 1-6 students were fortunate to take part in a wonderful incursion with children's author Steve Heron.
Steve captivated students with his engaging storytelling, creative insights, and enthusiasm for reading and writing.
